    * knows I've given up with half the names, me and Lenny can't even get the Israeli RB name right so he's getting called Dave from now on and this Ukrainian boy is now Shedski.

You can guarantee we’d have been right on the phone as soon as Arnold said he was being called up. It doesn’t matter what Arnold thinks of it, we can withhold an unfit/injured player from International duty.

Just FYI, Arnold has a reputation for doing deals with European coaches to suit both NT and club.

Thing is, Tam is so important to the NT - one of the few in our front third who can reliably beat the first tackler. Funnily enough, Arzani is one of the few others.

I guess this issue isn't going away.

Might have just slipped his mind, but no mention of Arzani when asked about rivalling the huns kid for Kent.

And yet, this is a Scottish site where folks are lining up to have a whinge about selection principles that have been FIFA sanctioned for decades...

So, we don't actually know whether Arnold called him up.

    Understandable mate.

But common sense should clearly prevail. On both sides.

Its now apparent to all in sundry (and should be to Arnold also) that Tam simply doesnt have the legs required.

From a Celtic point if view, I'd like to see him used sparingly... as an impact sub with no more that 2 starts a month.

From an Aussie perspective, its appears that hes just too important NOT to start, which just negates him as a player, for Australia AND Celtic.

Arzani is just off the back of a career threatening injury. I would like to think Australia would have the presence of mond to protect the future of the player before they consider short term options.

Why are all Australian moaning greeting faced *!

Schwarzer in papers today “move to Celtic isn’t right for him, he isn’t playing”

He does his ACL you * kangaroo pumping * and is just fully cleared to return to full training with impacts last month and needs a full pre season ffs!

Ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has questioned youngster Daniel Arzani's loan move to Celtic - suggesting it was not the right move for the playmaker.

The Australian legend has watched Arzani's progress stall since he joined the Hoops on a two-year loan switch from Manchester City.

Arzani, 20, suffered a horror ACL injury last season and has barely featured as a result.

And Schwarzer isn't convinced that the Celtic move will be as beneficial to the player as first hoped.

Daniel] had a phenomenal breakthrough season in the A-League," Schwarzer told Goal.

"He didn't play enough games over 90 minutes, which is something he needs to build on.

"The Celtic move is one which I am not sure is the best move for him just yet.

But it is about playing games and continuing to develop.

"His injury came at the very worst time as he just arrived and got his first opportunity to play from the start.

"It was not only unfortunate for his career at Celtic but also for Australia. I just hope that he can get back to the level he was at before his injury.

"He is a huge emerging talent from Australia. That's why Man City signed him
