When did I say anything about them being republican?

Also did I say they are catholic’s? Don’t think I did.

So if you have an Anglo Saxon name you can’t be a catholic or a Celtic fan? Or am I reading that wrong?

People will support and like teams because of an experience, like myself as a kid my granda took me to Celtic Park.

Loads of people will have a second team they follow, of course the love of the first side will never be beaten.

Currently living on Merseyside, I can tell you that most people my age (37 by the way) who are friends people I know and work colleagues like it support Celtic as their second side, most of it is down to as they say King Kenny or they are catholic’s and it was the team to support.

Now I do have a good few mates who are Everton fans who like Celtic due to Stubbs and a good few love them cause of Andy Grey and others.

Thing is you have people who are fans who have no connection to the club bar seeing us play or a favourite player etc.

Loads of Celtic supporters clubs around the world have opened that way, even fans from other teams who have come to watch their side play and support us since.

But I do get the jist of what you are saying bud. No problem

HE’S been keeping close tabs on Greg Taylor’s dream move to Celtic.

But Kilmarnock’s match-winner Stephen O’Donnell has warned his pal not to get too big for his boots when they hook up on international duty.

The pair played a key role in the Rugby Park success story under Scotland boss Steve Clarke.

And they both figure in his squad for crunch Euro qualifiers with Russia and Belgium.

With Taylor posted missing from a rejigged defence in the Perth win, O’Donnell admitted it just didn’t feel right.

He said: “It was quite sad not to see Greg there in the warm-up.

“But Nico Hamalainen has stepped in at left-back and did really well.

“It didn’t feel right doing the warm up with him, although he’s better looking than Greg!

I’m hoping to room with Greg for Scotland, but if he pies me for the Celtic boys I’ll know he’s changed. I was there first!

“Greg does not owe Kilmarnock anything. He has worked his backside off since he came here and been a great servant for four seasons, an ever-present.”

Joey Barton does, im sure there was a picture of him as a kid in full Celtic kit? he also bought his own kid the Celtic kit a couple of years before he signed for the huns posting it on twitter with him with the bag from the Celtic shop he actually did mention the IRA before, saying he admired them.

With how good boli was yesterday i'm actually a lot more up for this signing, for me boli is first choice so Taylor will provide good competition.

I dont think it will be for cover I think they will rotate the full backs.

We were so spoiled with KT who could attack and defend, think him and Boli will be selected based on the opponent and style of way we need to play on that given day.

I was thinking the same. Honestly, I'm quite happy with how the squad is taking shape. Yes, we could do with a CDM and probably a CB too - but as it stands, we've got plenty of quality, and lots of versatility. A club like Celtic need the likes of Bitton, Hayes, Bayo etc, versatile 'decent' players are the difference between a good team and a good squad.

Don't think we need a CB. Ajer, Jullien, Bitton, Jozo, Elhamed is more than sufficient.

Yeah, fair point mate. Bitton has really made a difference so far!
