    Look at Sinclair.

He was basically playing left wing back for Aston Villa because all he was doing was defending.

Came up here and instantly started scoring goals again.

It’s not as simplistic as you make it out to be.

Set piece ability may be the only reason to let him in the first team, really. Johnston's form is immense.

My major problem with them is that if they do well we could be looking at qualifiers in the next season without key players. A keeper and RB this time potentially. if it's to give us time to bring perm signingsin in January that's absolutely fine, but we rarely do that and so the cycle of going into qualifiers with makeshift defences just keeps going.

I'm not so sure on that. Mikey will need rested. Also we have the option of playing Elyounoussi for an hour and then bringing Mikey on to run at tired defences. That thought appeals to me.

Could do that with Shved coming from the bench for Johnston. I feel like a person who opens a gift box, only to see that he has already got the gifted item/book.

Think of it as getting the signed leatherbound edition of the book you already have.

I think he has spoke to a couple about offers, but this smacks of Lawwell triggering the extension to try and punt him.

He could play on the left, as a traditional winger? Bolingoli isn't behaving like a typical wing back anyway- cuts inside a lot. Our players deserve a proper chance over any loanees. There's also the option of playing Edouard on the left.

Why play our best forward out of position though?

It's not so much out of position. He doesn't really stick around in the box most of the time. Also, for tomorrow, if we play both him and Bayo, we at least have a physical front line. Midfield will be physically dominated anyway, but long balls over the top can get us chances and flatten the Huns' tyres.

For me him and MJ should be on the left now, with this guy being no. 1, then on the other side Jamesy and I'd prefer Schved as opposed to Morgan.

I like Sincy but it's time to go now, and I'd flog the other wide men too and have Oko and Dembele as next in line.

    Forrest/Shved on the right..
    MJ/Elyonoussi on the left..

Edouard is 100% a lone striker now, his game has improved so much and he'll get better, World Class even.. Should never be moved now.

We also have Sinclair, Hayes, Morgan, Arzani & Dembele.... Although I'd expect two of them to be loaned.

It's impossible to be negative in adding this level of experienced quality.
