Johnston was next in the queue to be given an opportunity. After Sinclair's drop in form, Johnston was then given his chance, and he has grabbed it with both arms. Sinclair was rightly dropped and if one of our wingers form drops and he gets an opportunity, he will have to show much more than he has done in the past year or so. Johnston defenitley deserved his chance though.

    Of course he is.

If we're talking about overall performances, Mikey has been better this season and the end of last season than Sinclair has in well over a year. Can't remember the last time Sinclair dribbled past two players in a single match.

If he isn't scoring, he offers very little.

The thing that confuses me about everybody clamouring for him is it’s generally accepted he’s good for goals but his all round play hinders us.

Are we struggling to score just now?

Think its more a case of who would you rather have on the bench, Morgan or Sinclair.

The one that’s earning himself a spot on the bench. Sinclair’s lack of movement and effort * us up so much going forward, yes he can score but the general plays so much better without him.

If he can’t be arsed putting the work in (and we know he can do it his first season he was constantly moving) then I don’t want him anywhere near the team.

When he’s played he hasn’t shown the effort.

    Exactly.

Morgan has done nothing in a Celtic shirt to warrant a place on the bench, never mind getting minutes. As much as I think Sinclair has been way, way below par for ages, he brings more to the team than Morgan.

Also, having one of the highest earners at the club not even making the match day squad is * ridiculous.

Regardless of form surely the one thing we can all agree on is the treatment of Sinclair has been nothing short of disgusting. He's been fantastic for us since he's been here. Even when he's not been on form his goals and assists contribution have been quite impressive

That’s Sinclair obviously finished here now, disgrace how it’s finished for him, he deserved better.

100% Were bad for shunting people out of the club, especially recently! Lustig & Commons were 2 that Lennons guilty of

Been poor for a couple of years and didn't deserve to be starting this year at all, however to activate his one year extension then just keep him knocking about and not in squad is very poor on our behalf, should of sold him or he should be on the bench instead of Morgan, very poor from us he's given us a great service and while he's struggled for a while that deserved far better than the treatment he's been given here/

Funny people were finding Lenny guilty of extending Lustig contract just a couple of months ago.

    * great player and a major reason we won the Treble Treble. Think he'll be gone before Monday, but I'll never talk down his contribution.

    I don't think he will..

He's on big money which I don't think he'll get anywhere else for starters. Think he'll just sit it out..

All European windows are still open a few more days apart from England really, aren't they?

Regarding the loan signing it really does out the final nail in the coffee for Sinclair, worst thing is he could dig his heels in see out his final year on a reported 35k a week.

    * horrendous the way he has been treated if I’m honest. Should have let him go in the summer for free.

I like him & want him to stay & fight.
Tbh though a lot on here are crying for him to be back in the team when not too long ago they were wanting him out of the team.
    Another of the absence makes,,,

Can’t see us signing Elyonoussi, if a deal to offload Sinclair wasn’t imminent..
