Said it previously, will say it again.

    Craig Gordon under Fraudgers........no thanks.

IF he is left to simply being a goalkeeper rather than a Primark-version of Manuel Neuer, then that's for the best.

CRAIG GORDON has his gloves back on — and is ready for a fight.

The Scotland goalkeeper is back in Neil Lennon’s side with Scott Bain injured.

But Gordon, 36, knows his Hoops boss is hoping to sign another goalie during this transfer window.

As SunSport revealed, ex-Celts star Fraser Forster has been discussed for a possible return to the club.

Gordon, though, is ready to battle for his position, provided — he joked — it doesn’t involve a physical duel with Forster.

He said: “It doesn’t matter who is in here, I want to play. And the only way I can do that is by playing well.

“If he does bring in another goalkeeper, then I’ll need to play very well to make sure I keep my place.

“If I don’t, I’ll have to live with that.

I’ll happily fight anyone for their place. Not actually fight them! But you know what I mean. Not big Fraser, I wouldn’t fight him for it!

“But joking aside, that’s the mentality I have, no matter what

“I’ll do my best to get in the team, concentrate on myself and my fitness.

“If I’m doing as well as I can and I get picked, great.

“It feels great to be back in. It’s been a while but it’s what I’ve always wanted.

“It’s unfortunate that Scott has an injury but you are always preparing for that, knowing that the next game could be the one where you get thrown back in.”

Gordon lost his Celtic place to Bain when Brendan Rodgers took the decision he was better at KICKINGthe ball.

But Lennon just wants his No 1 to concentrate on making saves.

Gordon added: “He doesn’t want any chances taken. It’s a safety-first policy.

“There’s not quite as much focus on playing out from the back. It’s about adjusting to that.

“The ball gets forward a bit more quickly and we push on from there.

“I didn’t think I was that bad at it before! It just seemed to be a snowball effect, something everybody wanted to talk about.

“You have to say that it’s one of Scott’s biggest attributes, if not his biggest attribute.

“He is a very good kicker of the ball, he passes it really well

If I’m being honest, he does that better than I do. That’s fine.

“It’s something I didn’t think I did badly — but he can do it better.”

We would still be in the CL with Gordon between the sticks. He is a SHOT STOPPER.

Without him at Xmas it would have been horrific.

They'd definitely have less time to score as many against us with the amount of throwings his kicking would have awarded

    Thought he was cool tonight..

    Passing was good. Handling comfortable..

Thought he was good tonight, played some good outballs and generally 'felt' safe watching him.

Didn't have anything to doz but used the ball well, his accuracy to big Ed was good, prefer this more direct approach.

Seen him have a good five seconds on the ball to clear it, look up, scuff it high up in the air and about 30 yards away and thought...

Yasss, good to see ye back Craig.

Charge and miss ma baws, he catches them right on the chin everytime!

He’s been well worth signing, but he’s also been well worth the criticism.

I find it hard to be fair on him because him and Steven Pressley are the only Celtic players I’ve ever actively disliked even if I’ve always tried to be fair.

Think we all know my dislike for the guy, but I'd rather play hazard.

His reaction to the penalty was poor. No passion, no desire, no strength. Casual, lazy effort to get the ball and restart the game.

I know he always looks like he is still sleeping, but a little passion would be nice...at least once before he finally * leaves our club.

This guy has saved 1 penalty in his celtic career that I know of against be'er sheva in Israel, I'm not sure he's even went the correct way for all the others againts him.

Forster was back for 1 game and saved the penalty, we all know who the number 1 is.
