Any fellow fitness enthusiasts wanna tell me what y'all make of this HIIT workout I've been doing.
20 seconds on, 10 rest jumping lunges alternate legs then 2 squats back into the lunges, plank, mountain climbers, scissor kicks, Burpees, plank, kettlebell swings, scissor kicks. Five times makes it 20mins all in, sweat like * and gets your heart rate up.and it's suitably challenging but can't tell if that's cause I'm a chubby waste or not!

If you feel that it's giving you a good workout then it's right for you. If it's not challenging enough, make it harder. :50:

First wee weights session in months this morning from having a * up rotator cuff. Felt good, just easing back in with Light weights and shoulder stretches. Hopefully holds up :50:

Probably in the best shape I've been since I was a teenager :56:, I let myself go big time the past few years. Hit 13 stone 3 at one point, down to about 10 stone 5 now, tried on a polo shirt I bought a couple years ago this morning that was skin tight on me when I bought it, was never able to wear it, now it fits perfect :84:

Good work mate, that's what it's all about!

I'm currently 101.2kg (~16 stone) don't have a goal weight in mind at all, the aim is to fit back into my 32" breeks but burst the sleeves of my large polos

    Cheers mate :50:

Aye I never had a goal weight in mind when I started either, I think I want to lose another couple pounds then start hitting the gym again to tone up a bit.

Only downside is it's costing me a fortune having to buy new clothes cos all my old stuff hangs off me now :56: worth it though.

Eased off on the body weight stuff I’ve been doing over the last few weeks, did 30 mins after work last night and woke up with my arm bruised to *. Weird because there’s not even any soreness.

I haven't really made that many changes tbh just been using MyFitnessPal app to track my calories and going out for a run or a walk a few times a week.

20.03 still my best, tbf only attempted it 3/4 times since.. between work, trips away and playing football I’ve eased off.

I did do it in 20.30 the other night so still not far off, hopefully in the next few weeks as I’m starting to knuckle down again in the lead up to the half marathon.

I've had physio this year to try and manage shin splints, they got pretty bad at the end of last year. Got signed off today and I'm running without any pain at all now. Key thing for me was strengthening my glutes as much as possible, which makes sense, as I spend a lot of time at work sitting. Big weight off my mind. So I had a half hour run on the treadmill this morning, then half an hour of the cross trainer. Going back tonight to do weights.
