Defence are a bunch ae diddies at any kind of level, same old story. Better invest the Tierney money in a couple of good defenders or we could be * this season.

Does the board just want us to be a big fish in a small pond???

Without investing on new players we are not going to the big fish in this small pond. Bringing Morgan on fodder Mickey was a mistake.things should have been left as is. They were leaving gaps that we could have exploited.
Never mind we might meet sevco 8 times this season now.more money for the board

    Heartbroken
It’s time for the fans to rise up
I was told in good authority the plan has always been to not let Celtic run away from Rangers. This leads to no competition and the fans get bored (in theory)
The board is run by business men not fans.

In their eyes. Spend all the £ win at a cantor and fans loose interest
Don’t spend the money. Have a competitive league, more interest from fans more tv interest. Make profit and keep the money

The same thing will happen next summer. Eduardo will be sold for 20m and the circle continues

Agreed the way they set the team up, the tactics, the system and playing CalMac at the back .. really was * hour and it really does make them look useless ..

Pay 7m for a CB and don’t get him up to speed in a month..

Paying over 3m for a LB, but having to change your whole formation because he can’t be trusted..

Harder to attract a better calibre of Signing now too..

At least we are at home for 1st leg of Europa League Play offs against either Sheriff Tiraspol or AIK who currently lead 2-1 from 1st leg.

Said it before should've played Hayes at LB, and McGregor in his natural position. By the way whit was Broony thinking?

Wow........got what we deserved which was nothing.

Who do we blame?imo the buckstops with the manager.
We can moan about players, board, etc but at the end of the day its down to lenny.

He has failed his first big test and his and the teams response will be crucial to the rest of the season.

If we fail to beat hun /or reach Europa group stage i think he would have to consider his position (even at this early stage).

Some will blame the board but we have enough talent in the squad tonight to beat that lot and conceding them 3 goals tonight was not down to the board, but down to lenny/team.

To those of you who blame the board there is only one language they know (money) so if ye really want the board to listen then stay away from games/merchandise/shops etc till the board get their act together.Yes it sounds silly childish even but dont go to the games and keep your money in your pocket if ye want to get the board to listen.

As many have alluded to, the frustration at the performance and result tonight is one thing.

But, the bigger frustration is its so predictable.
Teams from smaller leagues get their players cherry picked across Europe. Porto and Ajax lose players every season, but obviously have sufficient planning to cope.

Our long term planning in some areas has been ok (Christie, Ajer, Eddie all look like decent prospects) but the defence has needed overhauling for 2.5 years now.

Gordon was honking against Inter, and has never looked convincing to me. Bain has done ok up to know, but after tonight you now have to question wether he should be between the sticks.
Lustig (it hurts to say it) should have only been a back up last season.
And where was the new centre half last January window (With everybody knowing Benkovic and Boyata were leaving in May)

If the club knew KT was leaving, surely an established and reliable replacement was needed. Not another money-ball experiment.

    It's just not good enough.

Scott Bain is never EVER our #1

Scott brown I love the guy, but he looks his age now.. no pace, positional awareness gone to *, decision making and passing have gone downhill drastically.. calmac ntcham Christie should be our mid 3.

    * disgrace to give that penalty away
