Swap the RW for a CM. We also need a CB.

I'm just glad hes been open about this.

I would like to see us bring in these players or players of a similar quality:

    GK: Dominik Livaković (Dinamo Zagreb)
    RB: Silvan Widmer (Basel)
    CB: Strahinja Pavlović (Partizan)
    LB: Rubén Duarte (Alavés)
CDM: Victor Wanyama (on loan from Spurs)
    LW: Pione Sisto (Celta Vigo)

If we sell Šimunović and/or Ntcham before the end of this window, we will need a centre-half and/or a box-to-box midfielder too.

I am happy enough with Édouard, Bayo and Griffiths up front for the moment, but an Édouard-type loan deal might be wise, given that he will likely leave next summer.

Sounds good. I'll be happy with 3 out of 5.

When is Bayo back? Still unproven and not a huge loss if * (only £1m and imagine on low wages) so could do with another £3-5m striker.

The other starters I'm not particularly impressed with is Boli and we need more depth at left wing. If Johnston is injured, Morgan isn't good enough. If we get an El Hamed clone at LB, our starting defence is actually okay. The centre of midfield is pretty good and we have depth there. Our top two strikers are very good and proven. We just need more depth and quality in our depth. Once you get past our starters you're looking at people like Ralston & Morgan. Not great.

Not yet, as far as I am aware.

@Luz1904 Have you signed Pavlović? When does the Portuguese window close?

I think a good left back to replace Tierney along with a top class keeper and cover at right back would be enough. As long as we don't lose anyone of note.

With Lennon naming how many players and in what positions he's putting pressure on the board to get these deals done. I like it.

Failure and the recycling of lines about 'how difficult the market is' will not be accepted. Time to deliver.

    In theory.... yes.

In reality... no. Lenny has named the positions he wants strengthened. That doesnt mean he'll get the actual quality thats required.

The way we do our business, its far more likely we'll see SPL quality drafted in after failing to capture the real quality, over the usual pish like wage demands or a million here or there.

Big GT fae Killie with the 63 on his back, singing the sash in the showers.

    He's a coming.

Grabs the megaphone, job done. Sash might not be the best option at that point.

I share your cynicism but now Lennon has named what he wants there is no hiding place for the board; everyone knows the money is there and now everyone knows what the manager wants. Failure to deliver won't be accepted.

Surely, with missing out on Turnbull we will look to add a CM..

RW is literally the last position needing strengthening..

LB, RB, CB, DM, CM, ST, LW and GK... in that order for me.. and we only need a LW if Sinclair departs..

I get the feeling we are waiting on Turnbull recovering from his op.

I sincerely hope your right mate. I really do.

But we've bern burned so many times when it comes to making ambitious signings its better to just accept the worst and IF we do make some decent moves it'll be all the more sweeter.

I think failure to deliver in these 3 weeks given what is at stake and the shambles of last summer, might result in a wider strength in feeling against our strategy.

It is important to invest in 4 to 5 players now who can bring us Champions League football and also bring 9 and 10 in a row. Playing in the Champions League attracts players and it also it gets the youth side to play in the UEFA Youth League. Good investment now will bring further success on and off the park. I hope the board will back Lenny and invest now in 4 or 5 players to will make the squad even stronger.
