The Bellamy situation was different. Strachan had the option of trying to get Bellamy (and only Bellamy) or use the budget elsewhere.

In other words, no Boruc or Naka.

Clearly the boys agent trying to push a deal for his 40%,.

I'd sign the boy anyways looks class and would be an investment regardless...

Id say the chances of this deal going ahead have strengthened with the money from Tierney but may still require Ntcham to leave.

Why would we need Ntcham to leave?

Ntcham will leave just hopefully not in this window. Let him play for his transfer. Bring cifuentes in and give him time to bed in. Rather than have a Tierney scenario where we have essentially no replacement and will be held now to ransom on buying one now

Because we have a lot of players in that position, he does the same job as him and Ntcham will be on a decent wage also.

It doesn't look like Henderson is going to get much of a look in this season, so i'd be for loaning him out and bringing this guy in for competition. I'd also loan out kouassi if we can.

I think we need to move for this guy.

I think that one of Mcgregor or Ntcham will leave in the nearer future and with this guys pedigree and reputation, its a worthwhile risk. Available for £2.5m-£3m if reports are to be believed. Get it done. Get back on the right track of signing the right players.

Lennon has said our business is basically done on the basis of going out last night

Tbf, he didn't say exactly our business is done, just that it would affect his transfer budget.

Cant bring myself to even be bothered about incomings now.

Probably wouldn't play him for 6 months anyway.

Yep..less to spend... so any spending will be on cheap players augmented by loans

His club want more than the £2million City offered because the agent and player get 40%.
Sounds like difficult people to work with.
It makes sense to bring someone in and offer up some protection for Scott Brown.

It’s not. It’s nowhere near the same as saying we are done.

It’s saying we can spend as much as we’d have liked.
