I’m taking it very easy. I don’t thing it was wrong, I think it was just misunderstood.

No, he's got at least as much ability as determination, we'll see it this season for sure. Even watching him getting interviewed, he's developing into a very assured young man who understands the game beyond his years.

Desire and determination are in two different camps completely. Determination is usually strong and silent approach whilst desire is to show the blood and guts and actual ability you possess to make your mark. Similar but worlds apart in emphasis and last word I used as I would put his ability and instincts well ahead of sheer luck.

Yes, they are different words but they are both mental attributes. That is why he is the player he is. I don’t see a problem with that.
I have no idea what luck has to do with it!

I disagree, if he had as much ability as determination he would be one of the greatest to kick a ball!

Radio Scotland presenter Richard Gordon always raves about Christie, he's an Aberdeen fan, and talks about how good he was for the sheep, he wished they could've signed him.

Determination will only take you so far and this is where luck comes into it and needs everything to fall into place at the right time. With desire it has always dawned on me as a superior mental attribute in where you work for it, strive and your abilities is what take you over the line and beyond like Ryan Christie.

So we are agreed that it his mentality that makes him the player he is then?

    Great player..

So clever with little flicks and quick one touches..

Don't know if anyone has noticed this but as well as him being a real workhorse, he's really added a bit of a nasty streak/spite which I like. Forrest I think got hacked and he went and done the number 7 twice in a minute just after and kept laughing at him. Wasn't even the player that done Forrest but he upped the aggression after :56:

Our high press is all down to him..

See I don’t want to say yes because you are more about determined limitations. I was seeing it differently as more a desire to show he is not as limited as some had perceived him.:50:
