Steve and Dustin are the best characters on the show. Robin was a brilliant addition but thought the girl who played Erica was a terrible actress.

Just finished it. I’d have to watch season 1 again to compare but I want to say that this was the best season so far.

I was a * wreck for the last 20 minutes. When El was reading Hopper’s letter. My * the feels.

The music and whole production in general was just on another level. Easily the best CGI I’ve seen in a series.

MVP’s of the series again were Steve and Dustin, along with Robin who was a brilliant addition. That wee Erica was a severe pain in the * though and by the end was unbearable to the point she ruined it anytime she had a line.

The ending was heartbreaking but fantastic at the same time.

    NEVERENDING STORRRRYYYYYYY.

Post credit scene makes me think they’re bringing Hooper back and completely bottling it though

    Aye for sure.

I'm conflicted tbh. Bringing him back would be a total cop out...but on the other hand, I can't imagine Stranger Things without him. I'd be willing to accept him somehow being alive if they can explain it well enough.

I love his character but it’s a cop out 100% and a shitebag move.

The fact they seem scared to kill off many of the main group is bullshit for me. You even had the likes of Jonathan and Nancy talking about what College/University they were going to try for, now all of a sudden they’re staying in Hawkins and both working together in the same place...

Steve/Robin are far more interesting than them now anyway. Their whole storyline with the old woman felt forced, like they didn’t really know what to do with them this season. Which makes me think they actually had planned to make them move away but changed their mind when they seen how popular they were in S2.

Aye the lack of big character deaths is definitely something that sticks out. I feel like one of the kids should have died by this point. They sort of have too many characters now and feel the need to give them all something to do, which can be a problem.

My biggest regret is they didn’t kill Erica before S3.

    She was * insufferable.

Haha. Aye, I can accept kids in TV shows/films are unrealistic in what they say/do for the most part. But a 10 year old acting and talking like that is ripping the *. Pain in the hoop.

That’s not surprising because I’ve been hooked. Only watching one per night and have one left. Wee Millie Bobby Brown is excellent as is the guy who plays Billy (Australian). Dustin and the wee black girl are hilarious and season 3 the best by a mile and best TV show in years. The nostalgic stuff is unreal with old Coke cans, Burger King packaging and clothes and music.

Bit of trivia. I only found out from my son last night. Robin is Maya Hawke, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman’s
    Daughter.

I * hated Erica :giggle1: Like to the point when she was on screen it would serious drag scenes down.

Dustin and Steve are the best thing about the show. They somehow managed to make them even better with the addition of Robin.

In 3 seasons I can only remember it ever having one bad episode which is astonishing.

No even gonny lie, at the end in the video store got a bit emotional when she turned around and called him her pal.

He’s finally got a pal his own age :56:and she’s got someone who accepts her as well.

Then the daft * walks into the Pheobe Cates cutout

Worst thing about season 3 was the constant product placement.:56:

Lucas essentially stars in an advert for Coke in the second last episode.

I think that was in keeping with the whole 80s feel. All the movies in the 80s done product endorsement and a sly tip of the hat to m&m’s. Spielberg approached them before E.T. Offering a lucrative punt at the start of the movie for a few thousand and they totally knocked him back. So Reece’s Pieces wentfor it and they were basically an unknown brand until E.T. Catapulted them right to the top in sales.
