    Naw man, I don’t mean to say it only happens to ginger people. That’s absurd.

    I’m well aware there’s folk that get *, harassment, or abuse for a lot of different reasons. What I mean is that there is a society wide level of acceptance towards bullying gingers, or making disparaging comments about them. It’s not taken seriously (the abuse/bullying), when the evidence shows that the normalisation of gingerism does lead to a lot more serious issues, such as the ones I’ve already mentioned in this thread.

    In the past three years, when we’ve been out and about, I’ve received more derogatory comments about my hair colour, than my wife has about her ethnicity. She’s had 0, I’ve had around 10. Her being abused because of her race would be a much more serious issue, but there’s plenty of evidence that proves gingerism is an issue in our society, and a quick google will demonstrate that.
