Without a club on transfermarkt so it would be free. Am sorry but I'd rather have Ben arfa than 60 minute makeover rogic

Surely we haven't used lubos names in the same sentence as rogic!?

You could argue that about most of our team.. edouard, forrest, griffiths, christie, sinclair, ntcham..

Consistency is what separates good players from great players.

The best technical player we've had since Lubo. Never compared him to Lubo relax yourself.

It's not a crazy statement. If you're looking at the best technical players we have had since Lubo, surely it has to be between him and Naka.

I mean for a defender you could maybe argue Virgil, but Rogic is not a crazy shout.

Personally I think the difference depends on the player. In Paddy McCourt's case it was physical fitness; in Boyata's, it was technique; in Denayer's, height; in Watt's, attitude; in Mulgrew's, pace... in Rogic's, consistency and availabilty.

All really good players that were a different bottleneck away from being great.

RR please. Boyata wasn’t just technique that kept him from being great. There were quite a few things including attitude, mistiming tackles, mistiming the ball bounce, putting the ball in row zz when he had time. Over hitting 5 yard passes when he didn’t.
Facing the wrong way sometimes when his concentration dropped or he forgot we had done half time.
Getting rag dolled off several much smaller players.
Getting sent off when it wasn’t even necessary.

    & I rated him.

Yup, all down to lack of technique. ;)

Attitude isn’t technique. Sent off isn’t technique
Can’t find a pass isn’t technique if he can find it regularly. Same with tackling etc. :58:

Boyatas was decision making and concentration for me.

Cannavaro was relatively short for a centre back, Puyol also. But both were decent in the air and solid in the tackle.

Rogic is largely fitness, similar to McCourt. Too often Tam looks like he is towing a caravan or running through glue. But when fit he looks light footed and silky. Retiring from internationals would do his career the world of good.
    Kewell had a similar issue.

Kagawa is available for around 3m. I'd make an attempt at him.

Nah, but in all seriousness, you're obviously right. I was just thinking out loud earlier. @SUMMER TIME

While I mostly agree with this, Cannavaro and Puyol were not normal. :giggle1:

Yeah between the pair anyway. I'd probably change my mind on that day by day :giggle1:

Ben arfa would go missing when the going got tough and then most likely throw the toys out the pram and refuse to play
