I cant get my head round people saying 25mil/30mil would be good, ffs not one penny will go towards the transfer budget. Keep him at all costs

Don't think anyone wants this to happen but just being realistic..

Would be considerably higher than anything we've ever received before..

The board regard the CL riches (35+ million) as a given for annual income...
The business model is built around it.

Just getting the cash in early this season rather than wait until late in the window (after we’ve failed ) to try to recoup it.

Selling KT will be a self-fulfilling manoeuvre..

...we have more chance of getting to the big money stages of the CL with him here and would bring in more than we’re likely to get by selling.

If they sell... its pretty much the board saying that group qualification doesn’t really matter because we’ve got the cash anyway.

Selling Tierney would only make sense if we got over £30m and had the recruitment structure in place to do something productive with the money.

If we'd been preparing for this since last Summer by hiring proper knowledgeable, thorough and professional recruitment staff then it would make perfect sense. £30m+ would be massive for us, but not if we don't have people who really know how and where to spend it.

I have nightmares about some of our past fullbacks. We either hit the jackpot or absolutely * it. Such a hard position to sign quality in. Exactly the reason why we should be getting top dollar for Tierney.

I no what your saying, but it doesn't matter how higher it is, it boils down to next season with our without KT and i no what one i would pick, because we wont see a penny of the doe

    Sell Ntcham instead.

Even considering selling the likes of Tierney and McGregor is criminal when you think they are two vitally important players in helping us get to the CL group stages and getting that £40 million.

I wish we were smarter with our recruitment. At least then instead of signing an endless list of duds there wouldn’t be so much emphasis on selling the likes of Tierney and McGregor. The amount of money we waste on players that are offering absolutely nothing is astonishing.

If we were to sell him for £30 million we surely must be able to spend the lot on players. We have plenty of more elsewhere for whatever else we are wanting to spend it on.

That’s the right thing to do, use all of it on players but Lennon would get a fraction of that money 5/10 million max and the rest would be put away for extra board room bonus ext.

Ntcham isn't a big loss for me.

On form aye he's good, but how many times was he on form last season? He played about 5 decent games last season - the last one being at home to the Huns in September. That's how long ago it was.

I'd happily sell him for good money. KT should be going nowhere.

He is a £30 Million pound player nothing less .Especially his age and leadership qualities. Also his ability to bomb up and down the park for 90 minutes. Left backs like him are rare as rocking horse *. The only player that comes close is lucas at atletico madrid

Even if the a significant proportion of the transfer fee was reinvested back into the side, would you trust this shower to get it right?

The bulk of it would probably be wasted on some carthorse like McKenna.

Has anyone even factored into the equation that Tierney himself might want the move, instead of everyone shifting the blame onto big bad Lawwell for supposedly forcing everyone out of the club?

If Tierney, or McGregor, or anyone else for that matter regardless of how good they are or how much of a tim they are want to leave, then show them the door and recoup as much cash as possible.

Nah not a * chance, we are a shambles at the minute.

You would think that a club like ours doing the treble treble and we look * weapon the field coming into our most import summer since starting the road to the 10.

I wonder if Gutman is back with the club cause we are going to sell KT. Then the board doesn’t need to give Lennon any of the cash and have a left back here already.
