    Hes staying.

According to french media Marseille cant afford him because of FFP and Porto are going with a cheaper option.

Lets hope lenny can put his foot up his hole and get him playing again.

Playing against England in their first game as well I’m sure.

    Hopefully plenty scouts watching on.

I never said we would dominate in Europe. Just because we will not win the CL does not mean we need to try to airbrush it from our history. Twist things around all you want but the snake did not oversee in your words "our most successful stint in history"

Domestically it is. That’s a fact. We’ve never done what we just did. A treble treble, 9 trophies out of 9. Including an invincible treble. Devaluing that by saying the competition is weak is what our rivals say, if that’s your opinion that fire on.

1967 is our greatest season and achievement. It’ll always be that. But as trophies go, success, we haven’t won more than we have in the past 3 years.

You’ve completely taken away from my original point being Lennon is coming into a very different situation from the last one, making him just as big a risk as any appointment. The fact he’s been here before helps, but nothing is the same.

Strange argument, seeming to stem from your bitterness towards Rodgers. Probably another reason you’re devaluing it.

Funnily enough, if that was aimed at Lenny's first stint here, I'm sure Gabriel would quickly change his opinion.

I don't measure the success as in trophy count. Making a European cup final far outweighs the league cup in my opinion.

I admit I'm bitter toward the snake and have previously posted that if I had nothing bad to say about him then I would say nothing at all. On that point I hope when you are talking 9 trophies in 3 seasons you are not giving him all the credit for that. He won 7, put is in a good position for an eight and then done his best to sabotage us coming in and trying to clear our backroom team. He can take very little credit for trophy number 9 as all the hard work had to be done after he left

It reared it's head and I didn't dispute. It's hard to argue when a previously financially doped entity dies that it is easier for us to win the league. When I say weaker opposition I mean significantly weaker than us opposition and I'm sure if you look at my posts on the managers threads I would have posted that the only arena we can face our peers or betters is on the European stage.

We ourselves agree regularly with the standard of opposition we face with our HWGTIAR chants. Any manager who comes to us at this point in time and doesn't win the league will be an abject failure.

I didn’t even mention Rodgers in my original point, it had nothing to do with Rodgers. So shows where your head is at.

It’s about Lennon’s job being far different to the one he previously had with us and his previous success not guaranteeing future success as some seem to think.

You turned it into a debate about success and Rodgers bashing.
