It's the one thing that is sure to happen to every one of us.

Does it scare you, do you think about it, can it come quick enough?

It doesn't scare me one bit tbh, but that has been the case the older I have got.

    What's your feelings on it?

I'll live my life for as long as it lasts but I already welcome the day.

I swing from one extreme to the other.

Sometimes I take incredible risks and don't really worry about the consequences.

Then other times I lie in bed and imagine what happens after my final breath, get myself into a blind panic and have to get up to calm down.

It's probably sensible to be a little bit concerned about how we die - no one wants a horrifically tragic, or painful death - but I'm genuinely not scared about death itself.

Any apprehension of death disappeared from my thinking the second I lost my religion (in my teens).

I'm scared of how it would effect the people that love me.

I had a scare a couple of years ago and it definitely opened my eyes up to how easy it can creep up on you.

Nope. Fearing the inevitable is an absolute waste of time. I'd rather focusing all my efforts on living rather than worrying about something I've got no control over.

    Not really.

If I die I can just re-establish myself as a new club... I mean person, keeping all of my old qualifications and life achievements.

Unless you went to University and didn't study Science. In which case your life has amounted to nothing.

Death doesn't scare me or the way I die. I've been stabbed a few times on 4 different occasions(side of face, chest, back and arm) and that isn't painful as one would think it is at the time. Actually thinking about getting stabbed is scarier than actually getting stabbed! Mines felt like getting punched untill I seen the blood. Been in 2 car crashes(my own fault and head through windscreen) that thinking about them is actually more scareier than the actual crashes. Just a few examples(alot more just thought put a few up) of situations where thinking of something like that happening to one would put fear into them but when it happens, it isn't as bad as one would think. Same as death, thinking about it would cause more stress/fear than the actual pain of it happening. With that said, I don't want to die for a long long time! The main worry I'd have about dieing is leaving my kids in this world and not being able to protect them if anything bad happens or be there to advise them plus missing the granchilder from growing up. Apart from that, I couldn't give a * about dieing. It happens to every single one of us. I'm just thankful I won the race of life when I was a * cell leaving my das sack 39 years ago. It could be worse, if I'd came second in that race, I wouldn't have been able to experience all the wonderful things in life along with all the not so wonderful!

The people I know/love dying plays on my mind far more than my own death ever does.

You don't know a thing about coming into this world and the chances are you wont know a thing about it when you leave. We're here and then we're not just about sums it up really. Also the older you get the more that you accept the inevitability of it and how you yourself feature in the natural order of things.

No problem with the process and just hope it’s not a long illness. Had a death wish in my younger days maybe more that I didn’t give a * but it is what it is.

    For life is quite absurd
    And death's the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
    Forget about your sin.
    Give the audience a grin.
Enjoy it. It's your last chance, anyhow.
    So, ...

Yes. Terrified of the thought of never being with/seeing the people I love for eternity.
