You definitely need to be a fan of Pokemon for this film.

    Leatherface

Prequel to the 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre. About as average as a film gets. Few gory bits, albeit the film is definitely more story based than just a total gore fest.

    House of 1000 Corpses

Probably the most * up film I've seen. It's not particularly good but it's an experience. Pretty minging.

Watched that yesterday. Thought The Devil's Rejects was better. Not as all over the place as the first one.

    Halloween (2018)

A decent sequel to the original. A few cool kills and nice callbacks to other films in the franchise. The tracking shot of Michael going from house to house is excellent. The film doesn't quite have the same creepy atmosphere as the original, which is it's biggest let down.

    John Wick 3

The first few fight scenes are unreal. Goes a bit stale and then ramps up again. Quite enjoyed it but nowhere as good as the first one.

    Spider-Man: Homecoming

An enjoyable watch, like most MCU films. Liked how this one was more localised and personal than pretty much all of the others in the franchise. Can't go wrong with Michael Keaton.

    Summer of 84

Meh. Mystery/thriller/horror about a bunch of kids who suspect their neighbour is a serial killer. It's fairly boring for the most part, but has a decent last 20 minutes.

The Founder with Michael Keaton. Story of how McDonald's became such an empire. Enjoyable. 8/10

Brilliant film. About a single mother who’s a debt collector and her daughter gets kidnapped by a big child trafficking ring who butcher the kids. Action similar in style to The Raid.

Sounds a bit like the second. Obviously still a brilliant action film compared to others being made but not near the first movie.

Missus hated it because there wasn’t much talking, just about John Wicked her myself.

Interesting to see where they go form here.

    Jurassic Park

First time watching it all the way through. Well, that I can remember anyway. Thought it was brilliant. Good mix of comedy and action/horror. Jeff Goldblum is class, as always.
