Pretty new to the coffee game, only drank it for a couple of years, part of the cafetière crew at work now and ahin. We try different beans every so often etc, and it’s saving me a fortune from Henry’s Coffee House downstairs. Have a mini moka express pot too at home to brew a wee shot.

There’s an excellent shop in Dundee, Braithwaites, been around for three generations and is proper old school inside, the aromas are great too.

Anyone else addicted? How do you get your fix? How do you make it at home?

I drink more tea than coffee, but I like Starbucks, Costa or McDonald’s coffee when I’m out. Funny this thread should come up though as when I was out for my birthday on Monday, we took the dog for a walk in Hyde Park, and had coffee and cake at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen there. They have a sign outside saying they have award winning coffee so I was tempted. Best latte I’ve ever had.

At home I just use the ground beans and a cafetiere. Used to have a coffee machine but it was broken by a family member. I don’t take sugar but occasionally put a teaspoon of honey in as a treat.

Used to love a few beans back in the day. Especially after the dancing.

    To the nostalgia thread!

Not a connosuier by any stretch of the imagination but the best instant coffee I've tried is kenco smooth.

The dolce gusto americano intenso pods are very decent one of the stronger ones you can get and alot better than instant.

Love coffee. Used to be quite into trying all the different beans. Lost the machine when me and the ex split.
Was looking at buying one again recently but they're quite expensive and I don't really mind instant coffee.

    Black no sugar.

I’m on these at the moment.

Switch between both depending on which ones on a half price offer at Tesco at the time.

Love my coffee. We buy Illy coffee which is more expensive but definitely worth it imo.

Like a mug of coffee usually just instant though. I do have one of those machines but I usually don't have the pods things or I can't be arsed getting the machine out of the cupboard. Out and about I like Mcd's coffee/Costa for a latte and I do like to go into starbucks and ask for a cup of tea :giggle1:
Not a fan, at all, of cold coffee with ice tbh boak whatever marketing person came up with that deserves shot imo :bash:

Just instant coffee at home, normally Douwe Egberts pure gold. Tend to find Greggs and McDonalds coffee better than most the proper coffee shops when out and about.

I finally got round to getting a coffee machine I got one of those easy to use Bosch ones and it might well be the best thing I've ever bought. I'm going to sound like one of those coffee * but I do love those Tassimo Latte Baileys Machiatto's in the morning.
