At 22/1 not been anywhere since leaving Liverpool last year could be a decent shout with klopp speaking as highly of him and being with him as assistant for 17 years

Without trying to sound too negative If we go for Moyes it will be an unmitigated disaster. Remember the excitement that Rodgers brought to the the whole club when he signed and now imagine the anti climax of announcing Moyes with the type of Football we know he will bring is a disaster in itself. Make no mistake the standards have been set boys and we must't let the board lower them at any cost.

If these last few weeks have proved anything (again), it’s that the bookies odds on this market in particular aren’t worth a *.

He sounds feart of Gerrard ....Dery me. Lennon will be fine re the title.
I'd prefer we were more ambitious re Europe and the bigger picture .

I've heard strong rumours it's Houghton.

Got a WhatsApp with that exact message from @StPauli1916

There seems to be a bit of a debate or at least the suggestion of one, of whether Lennon could comfortably overcome slippy over a season.

Lets state the obvious... 2 out of 4 games against sevco we were second best, by a fair margin. Even our last home game win against the mutants looked touch and go for periods.

Lenny has only had one of those fixtures, by the far the worst tactically and performance wise out of the 4. But Fraudgers was hardly setting these games alight either.

The bottom line is slippy has these * well drilled and fired up to the hilt for these fixtures. That doesnt suggest that he's a better manager or tactician than BR or Lenny. Hes just got them hyped, whereas we, as we have all season, look jaded, tired, and frankly disinterested. Also missing key players etc.

We need a manager who can give us a lift again, the way BR did in his first season for us and the way slippy has for 4 games against us.

Belief can go a long way to winning a fixture. The huns have proved that.

But habit, attitude, dedication and resolve are what wins titles over a season.

We need a manager who can deliver both. Times have changed, Lenny isnt the man for us. But that certainly doesnt mean he couldnt win us the league. Of course he would. It just wouldnt be very pretty to watch, or too good for the oul nerves.

In some respects we HAVE been spoiled. But this is football. The moment we stop demanding the absolute BEST we can do is the moment we cease to move forward. We absolutely SHOULD be aiming for domestic trebles EVERY season as well as major progress in europe.

    We are Celtic.

Choice is a manager of the standing ( or better hopefully) of fraudgers and winning the league easily and by a large margin or a manager like Moyes or Lenny and winning the league by a small points margin.

I want a top class manager in and to steam roll our way to the ten destroying other teams as we go. Lenny or Moyes or similar won't give us that.

I love it when people suggest that Lennon is the only realistic option when we literally just had Brendan Rodgers in charge for 2 and a half seasons.

I'd rather have Lennon than Moyes.

If we end up with Lennon my main fear is he wont be backed to the extent as other potential managers, eg. Rafa.

This is the squads biggest turnaround since the rat came in, although it's arguably bigger considering the amount of players going and needing brought in.

Will Lennon have control over transfers? Or will Lawell poke his fat nose in as usual?

If we get a big name manager in I feel we see a better transfer window and ultimately a better team on the park.
