I would have taken him after Manchester United alright. He has done nothing to prove that he only suited Everton and nowhere else.

I watched the Mourinho one about beating Barcelona where he stopped Messi and found it pretty fascinating....the one Moyes did I found really hard to watch.

The Pellegrini masterclass was an easier watch and it was in Spanish!

I get where yer coming from and certainly wouldn't want to argue against someone trying to sell the good points of our club, but there has to be a degree of realism here.

I don't think the prospect of CL fitbaw is a big enough carrot to dangle in front of a high calibre manager, for the simple reason that we do not have automatic entry into the tournament, and it's becoming increasingly more difficult to get there, especially on a miniscule budget in comparison to many other teams taking part.

I know Rafa has had problems with Ashley, but can you imagine him trying tae get money fae PL ? :56:

    Same.

Had to laugh yesterday when I watched the video about it being a "masterclass" video - aye Davie, telling two full backs to get forward, playing a holding midfielder in front of two slow as * CB's, having two wingers cut inside, and having yer 3rd midfielder make runs in behind yer striker........* me, I would never think such masterful tactics could ever be thought of.

Almost as if it's some kind of mystical footballing sorcery! :eek1::eek1::eek1::eek1:

Think that just kinda shows what type a manager he is - decent. Nothing more than decent.

Probably a really good guy to work for, but * me he is so uninspiring it's unbelievable. At least Rodgers (even though we know now he was full of *) was able to suck you in to his ideas with nothing but his words.

Moyes would put you to sleep...

    Yep..

Need a manager that get's the player's and support to buy in to everything you say and do..

He sucked the life outta me in that video so I'm no sure exactly what he'll get out of a lot of our squad which I already class as slightly fragile mentally..

You could argue though that Steve Clarke is the most miserable * I've ever seen, yet he got a pish Killie side and support fighting every week and believing in what he said/wanted. Maybe it would be the same with Moyes........but I'm clutching..

I actually think if we got him in we'd be pretty safe. Think we'd win the league next year and be decently set-up. That video has knocked that back a bit though and I'd like someone less dinosaur-ic..

Feel he'll just do enough. We'll play ok. We'll be decent at the back. We'll maybe get in to Europe. We'll win the league just..

    Want more..

Those are the exact same tactics i used in champ manager 01/02... when i was * 18... and as tactically retarded then as i am now.

If his "masterclass" is as about inspired as to out think a * difference engine of probabilities on 20 year old software, operated by a stoned as * 18 year old student in his boxers.... then we're in big * trouble.

Get this chimp so far to * away from us.

We win Saturday Lennon gets the job. Even if we just scrape a win.

Lose, all * will break out, the reactions will be mental as it’s been so long since we’ve lost it feels. And he won’t get the job.

    My thoughts only of course.

I had actually resigned myself to accepting Moyes' appointment yesterday, and tried to think of the positives.

Today? I have nothing. I'm totally at a loss to see what he's going to bring to the table.

I'm totally wanting to go in a different direction than Lennon, but if it's a choice between Moyes and Lennon, then Lennon wins it every day.
