If he wants to go back to England i'd let him go, he's been good for us but has gone down hill each season.

Would be some record for him to leave with also if we do the Treble, 3 seasons 9 out of 9 trophies won and scored about 60 odd goals.

Letting him go seems the logical thing but that’s some amount of assists and goals you need to replace!

Terrific athlete with a great attitude and on occasions is unplayable, but despite the number of goals he gets he can still frustrate me on the ball.

I would be fine if he left this summer, especially for a reasonable fee. MJ and Shved can both play out left and have it all to prove so free up Sincy's wages and get the chequebook back out...

Shved doesn’t play left mate it’s right or no 10.

Johnstone despite yesterday MUST go on loan and bulk up like Christie did next season!

Anyone remember when he was tearing the league up beside Moussa? What a player that was :(

He’s still a quality player, let’s see what the new manager gets out of him next season.

Thing is all things come to an end. His time has come for me and we have players like MJ, and Dembele waiting to step up.

True, Jamesy can play on the left as well. To have the front 3 or 4 all comfortable in any of those positions would be a great option though, I liked that about Roberts time here, they 3 would regularly rotate across the front line it makes it difficult for the opposition to man mark.

Just seen a stat there which shows that he is the joint 4th top goalscorer with Gary Hooper during our 8 in a row period.

That is a fantastic contribution from a winger. Shows what a fantastic signing he has been for us.

Considering hooper was an out and out penalty box striker it is some stat!

Performances at times leave a little to be desired but his contribution over the 3 years has been worth the outlay imo.

If he stays then great hopefully the new manager can get him playing with more consistency if he goes we should get a few million back and £35k a week off the wage bill

I think he is still very important for us and would not want us to sell at all. I’d be very surprised if we could get someone who would replace those goals and assists.

this season he's registering one assist every 9 games?! and a goal every 4 goals from open play. He was unstoppable when he first came in and should get the praise he deserves for his contribution at the club, however he's been terrible this year and we can't afford to have any more passengers in the team next season, especially our highest earner. He couldn't get past a 30 year old who's played most of his career in league 1 in England with little to no pressure on him, not to mention all the other players he couldn't get by in the past couple of games- Gray, O'Donnell and Devlin out of position against 9 men Aberdeen.

Hopefully him being given the armband and his daughter as the mascot means he’s being punted.

Hes become a complete enigma. Consistent in his numbers but other than a couple of patches at the start of the season and middle, has been horribly bad. Which makes no sense. Hes scored 15+ goals. How can he be bad? As I said, complete enigma.

Right place right time, most of his goals are from taking up good positions in the box. His productivity on the ball and ability to beat a man has gone way downhill since his first season, but he's still a good forward player with his positioning.
