Ok rights is the wrong term, but without various cells and their interactions the human life form wouldn’t happen. I was being flippant, I have no gripe about what a woman wants to do with her body. What I do have concerns about is late stage abortions, which I’m my view are horribly inhuman as that in my view is a baby by that stage.

What’s the latest you would find appropriate to abort?

Well that depends on a whole lot of things, but I am against abortion personally so I’m not really the person to ask. I feel abortion has become just another form of contraception in society these days. Yes it is necessary in certain cases but I feel it’s being used far too often. But that’s just my view it’s the woman’s bodies so their decision.

As someone who lives in the occupied 6, its difficult not to compare this Alabama issue with the position of the DUP in the North of Ireland! Not only do they abuse parliamentary (local assembly) privilege to deny women the right to chose (unlike in the UK, a state they wish to be treated exactly the same as) but ! below the Westminster mp tier, many DUP MLA,s councillors and even a minister (McCausland!) genuinely believe in Creationism, they really believe that the world was made in accordance with the Bibles teachings, Red neckism at its very best

I was reading a couple of articles about the bills, and came across these comments made over time, by various American lawmakers.

You can google every quote and find out when they said it, unfortunately.

This has never been said. One of their politicians on the news yesterday said there would be exceptions for such incidents.

“The law includes a ban on abortion in cases of rape or incest.”

    It’s definitely been said.

I'll take anything the BBC write with a pinch of salt. One of the politicians involved in all this said when interviewed there would be exceptions for things like rape. I'll believe him before I'd ever believe any BBC journalist.

You don’t need to read the BBC. If you read the actual bill that has been passed, it states that only serious health risks to the mother (not including mental health issues), would deem abortion to be lawful.

So regardless of what that politician said, he/she is lying through their teeth in an attempt to appease the PR machine.
