Earned 4M€/y in Benfica, 8M€/y in Sporting and 7M€/y in Saudi Arabia.

He might be going to Porto next season.

Hibernian suspended him, and carried out an investigation into his conduct after a complaint against him (although he was cleared of any wrongdoing) - that much is indisputable.

Why do you think that he left Hibernian?

Aye wasn't the talk that his relationship with Kamberi had completely broken down?

It doesn't matter what I think. If he was cleared of any wrongdoing, then for you to throw accusations around as if they're gospel just to try and prove a point is pathetic.

He has a point. Speculation and conjecture based on newspaper articles with no quotes is pointless.

I dont understand whats laughable about Lennon being a director of football.

    Lennons possitives and negatives as a manager suggest he more suited to a director of football;

    Positives:
    Passionate
    Knows the club inside out
Has a decent track record of signings
Has a good relationship with the board
Usually has a decent relationship with the players

    Negatives:
    can be tactically poor
Doesnt get involved in sports science etc
Training style maybe a bit dated
Prone to struggling with the limelight etc

To me when you look at that he is more suited to a director of football than a manager.

There is no conjecture there. I think that it is reasonable to infer from that series of events that his relationship with some of his players was strained.

Definitely makes more sense for him to be DOF think he could also sort out the negative by working under a manager like Rodgers. I doubt would go back to be an assistant manager unless a big name like Rafa or Jose got the job.

It's the very definition of it.

    conjecture

    noun
    1. 1.
an opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information.

Moses Batunfata been linked with the job now. Promising young Nigerian manager, been doing wonders in the Belgian 2nd division.

I know what conjecture is; please, don't patronise me.

The post that I quoted is a matter of fact, and I'm absolutely correct in saying that there's no conjecture there.

The inference that Lennon's relationship with his players was strained is conjecture, although it is a perfectly reasonable conclusion to draw.

That definitely sounds more in keeping with our board than the likes of Rafa.

I wasn't looking to condescend you. You said there is 'no conjecture there' then went on to say that you can draw inferences from the part information that's available; which is a total contradiction.

You're welcome to draw that conclusion but others are welcome to call it exactly what it is, completely speculative.

I'd say a far more accurate reflection of his man-management & interpersonal skills is from ex-players who have worked with them. eg Joe Ledley:

“His team talk would get you so psyched up for the game and hammering home what it means to the fans.

“You could see deep down how much it meant to him and then afterwards he would come in and hug you, tell you how much he loves you, how great you were and what a result it was.

“He’d speak to you one on one and tell you as a team and as players you love that in a manager and want to work under a boss like that.

“He was brilliant and doesn’t half get you up for the games. You knew it was totally different to any other game and there was a lot of pressure on you to perform and get the result.”
