I feel like there is this tendency to say certain foreign players "don't want to be here" just because they aren't constantly kissing the badge or expressing their love for the club. For most of these guys, Celtic isn't a passion like it is for us but an employer where they are playing their football and developing their game. And that is totally okay. I think it's genuinely ridiculous for people to say Ntcham "doesn't want to be here" on absolutely no basis other than sheer speculation, what they perceive as his demeanor, and the fact that a few offers have come in for him.

Granted, he's struggled for form and has struggled with injuries this season. But he's undeniably a massive talent and someone I hope stays for the next few seasons because I think he has a really unique skill-set and can be an incredibly useful player for us in a midfield with McGregor and Christie.

I think people actually mean he doesn't seem like he's arsed to succeed and improve here. Not so much his demeanor (although it is a factor) but his attitude in games and his focus seems array at times.

He's been inconsistent as * and when he's been benched hasn't looked from the outside like he's the type to knuckle down and fight for his spot. He's got the talent but work rate seems to be lacking a lot.

Guy really is an enigma. I could see him against Rosenberg (again!!) in a CL qualifier, spraying passes and dictating the game and being our go to guy. The following week, we are at swinecastle, easter rd or ipox and he is being bullied and putting 5 yard passes into the stands. All the ability in the world but not one I would like to have in the trenches.....

Hasn’t looked like he is enjoying his football since big Dembele split. Waste of a great operator who does have it because at one time I thought he only needed to polish up on his target practice but looks like an empty shirt.

    Please.

Anything over £6m or so and he can go. Hasn’t been arsed since Dembele left.

Nothing to do with his nationality or lack of badge-kissing.

He's extremely talented. Unfortunately he's also lazy, seems to have no concentration and no obvious desire to fulfill his obvious potential.

How is he lazy though? I’d argue Tom Rogic is ten times lazier.

If we could get him motivated and playing then he would be like a new signing as he was as good as missing the wholse season.
Its clear there is a very good technical footballer in there. Total mystery why he gave up.

If we were to get offered anything over £8 million then I would sell.

Showed flashes of brilliance but for me seems to be the exception rather than the rule.

Sell him and bring in Turnbull and an experienced quality midfielder, time to get rid of the ones that only turn up when they can be arsed or are past it.

I would still push for £10m.

Despite his form in today's market he is worth that. Just signed a new deal. And we paid £5m or so.

No reason why we should settle for £6m as some people are suggesting. Not how we should be doing business.

Can envisage him going to Porto and selling for £40m in 3 year. Standard.

No * Sherlock, since he’s only 19 but already one of the top young players in the league.

That’s why I said another experienced quality midfielder that can play the sitting role. We need to look at the future as well if we’re going to revamp the squad.
