Not looking to debate/talk about the majority of this post as basically everyone knows the truth of the matter by now I imagine regarding rodgers and what actually happened. What I would like to know is this - Does anyone believe the following part -

"Rodgers was willing to give Leicester the £3million himself because he wanted to see the season out and deliver the treble treble, but then he thought '* it'. Why should he, when Lawwell didn't want him there?"

So the full question is - Do you believe Rodgers would have been prepared to pay £3 million quid, from his own pocket, to stay til the end of this season ?

Personally I think there is more chance that Danny actually did turn up in his normal clothes and say what rat boy claims but let's see what the rest of you think ...

The post it came from -

Where’s the ‘no * chance’ option?

I don’t think our dealings in the summer helped matters, but I think he would've been off regardless. The Leicester job is simply more appealing to him.

He was a snakey rat *. Spin what ever web of lies you need, but not only did he abandoned us, he then took the entire backroom staff with him and litterly would have left us with Scott brown to try and coach if others never refused to leave. All this right before a huge game and going for a treble treble. * him and his lies. You couldnt leave a club in a worse possible way.

I tried to set an impartial question :giggle1:. I haven't even voted yet as I didn't want to show a score for the first person reading it either. Tbh I reckon no * will believe it and for the record I also believe the whole post it came from is bullshit. That chain of events is simply nothing like what I/we have all heard been told has come to light about rodgers but some seem to be buying it in the thread its posted in :88:

To answer your question as politely as possible...

No * chance the self-obsesses wee fud would ever pay anything out of his own pocket to have stayed here.

    Not one single * chance...

I've got more chance of scoring in a CL final for Celtic.

Am I getting this wrong or being stupid? So Rodgers was prepared to stay until the end and Leicester were happy with that arrangement. 6 million pound but an extra 3 million to Celtic if he left right away. Why does Rodgers have to pay Leicester anything out of his own pocket in any scenario?

I’m not being funny but just can’t digest that part.

The thing with multi millionaires is that the more they've got the more they want. You never see an ordinary bloke dodge their taxes, its always rich * who can well afford it so there's no way he was going to spend £3 million out of his own stash. Rich people use other peoples money to buy things

Aye so he says. But why were Leicester going to receive £3 million from Rodgers?

Not buying the part about him fronting his own money but I do think the relationship had broken down and was a factor in his decision to ultimately leave a decision I think he had made at the end of last season/beginning of this and was just waiting for the opportunity to bail out.

A successful Celtic manager will always come to this point sooner or later. Domestic dominance but European make weights. Realistically it has a 3 year life span. 3 years before they think what more can they do without some serious investment.
