Beers out the back in general are arguably life’s greatest pleasure.

A lot of wee news stories make me laugh. Most recently reading about the family that called the council about rats in their gaff in Shettleston. Evening Times reported the council sent professional pest control around, who arrived with a golf club and started battering * out a rat when he saw it lol.

I should add that this just amuses me rather than makes me happy.

Aberdeen could scupper this by guaranteeing us the title in Sunday but.

I haven't really planned anything as yet Packy. TBH I just feel like I need a break to recharge the batteries. With all the uncertainty at work I was deliberately hoarding my leave in case I just felt like taking a proper break and looking for something else. I then took a week off a few weeks ago to go to Germany for my brother's wedding, which was brilliant but very tiring. This was my own fault as I booked it around getting back in the country for the DOBs game so came back completely knackered and got back to work and thought right I'll let the folk with young ones book their leave around the Easter holidays but then I need a break.

So at the minute not really thought beyond relaxing and spending a bit of time in the gym.

At times you just need to relax at home. Last month I was off two weeks one at start and one at the end. cleared out a spare room and then papered it, was so so therapeutic. 2nd week I was able to kick back and watch a load of stuff and listen to music. So fresh when I was going back and I hadn’t felt like that in ages. Sitting now though and feeling very hyper and I haven’t slept from Saturday night.

Alan McManus. There's something about the man that relaxes me. He would be a great man to break bad news.
