Really? I’ve been imagining us winning the 10 since we got the 3 :56:

Think that’s the same as most, it’s where here we go 10 in a row started anyway

Very good point. If he is to be the man to lead us into the new season he must be backed properly this time.

Looks like it’s his job to lose now..

Who will he cut loose and who or what type of player will he look to bring in?

Can see him bringing in a DM stopper, or do we actually need that? Will he change the way we play, will he recognise the need to build a team around McGregor?

What will Lennys squad look like?

    Bain
    Hazard

    De Vries
    Gordon

    KT
    Ajer
    Simunovic
    Lustig
    Ralston
    Gutman

    Benkovic
    Boyata
    Gamboa
    Izzy
    Compper
    Hendry
    Toljan

    Brown
    McGregor
    Rogic
    Christie
    Ntcham
    Forrest
    Hayes
    Henderson

    Bitton
    Kouassi
    Shved
    Arzani
    Johnston
    Morgan

    Allan
    Sinclair

    Mulumbu

    Edouard
    Griffiths
    Bayo

Weah(hopefully get another year out of him)
    Burke

We obviously need two CBs, LB and RB, what else? A GK to challenge Bain?

Would like to see MJ and Henderson loaned out for the first part of the season, maybe Kouassi too he needs the game consistent game time..

Sinclair is an interesting one, don’t think Lenny fancies him but his stats don’t lie.

Bayo is untested, Griff hard to know if he’ll be the same. Maybe another loan for a striker would make sense.

Big summer, whoever is that helm, but looking like Lenny.

I see some morons have been saying the performance on Sunday was 'more like a Brendan Rodgers team' implying this a very good thing. Wait a * minute that might apply to his first season in charge, but this season under Rodgers we had been playing poorly with a brand of football that involved passing the ball to death around the defensive and midfield without penetrating the opposition. The football we played on Sunday was better than anything we've see under Rodgers this season, it was far more incisive and put the opposition defence under a lot of pressure. Lets not re-write history and pretend we were playing great football up until Rodgers left because that was definitely not the case.

That’s not accurate, we did play some excellent football under Rodgers this season the 3-0 LC win over Hearts, demolition of Killie(5-1) St. Johnston(6-0) and Hearts(5-0) in the League no point ignoring that.. some of the football has been turgid under BR but the same can be said for most of the performances under Lenny..

Hopefully Sun was a turning point, but there’s no point ignoring Lenny is a downgrade on the Rat, that’s just a fact.

This season, yes it was. Far more direct that put their defence under all sorts of pressure. Previously we had been playing the ball around in front of the defence for an eternity without making any incisive passing. Rodgers even admitted it himself, he said we were 'too slow in possession' many times this season.

I disagree. Im getting the feeling you dont want Lennon to get the job, I think someone is a little reluctant to give Lennon the credit he is due.

I’m choking for Lennon to get the job and he’s right, we had a run of 6/7 games while Rogic was fully fit we were playing incredible football, McGregor and Christie also in full flow. Was unreal but short lived.

It was an excellent performance but we could have and should have punished them a lot more than we did..

Saying that’s the best football we’ve played all season is a ridiculous statement.

Most people are giving him and more importantly the players credit for Sunday. Some people are actually giving him far too much credit. Beating a 9 man Aberdeen in a cup Semi Final doesn’t get you the Celtic job.

I don’t want him as manager. I’ve been vocal in that. However, wrapping up the league, beating Rangers at Ibrox and completing the treble would make him deserving of adding his own pieces to the team and taking on next season.

Said in the match thread some * would come out with this.

Did we not completely dominate the game when they had 11 ?

Ok, beating an 11 man Aberdeen in a cup semi final doesn’t get you the Celtic job.

Yes but getting the people who have already declared they dont want Lennon in the job to praise him is like trying to get blood out of a stone. Some people just hate being proved wrong, they dont want to lose face.

Depends on what our ambition is.

If it’s to win 10 in a row then I don’t see a lot of changes in all honesty.

I think we need a massive overhaul if we’re even remotely serious about Europe.

Anyone on loan or out of contract I wouldn’t be trying to bring back.
