So you think MON’s career was propelled forwards after he left us?

Can you give me just one example of a manager, in our history, who has went on to bigger and better things after us?

Be interesting between now and the end of the season ( especially if we drop points) to see how many of the naysayers write off today's dominance as not not really counting as we were only playing nine men.

MON made the step that just about every manager that graces our dugout wants - A move to a solid Prem club.

MON’s stock was high after consecutive top 6 finishes, the fickleness of the management game turned that on its head.

Never said bigger, never said better. Your words. Coming to Celtic and winning ala Rodgers, propels a a prospective manager to where he desires to be next in his career.

Propelling a career forwards you would think would be bigger and better. O’Neill could have easily got a job like that before he was with us, as could Rodgers.

He probably could of, I'm not arguing that, just highlighting how the step he made is exactly what prospective managers want. Wether it's seen as a lesser club by us is irrelevant.

We are one of the best stepping stones for someone in footballs career. Rodgers wasn't daft when he signed on, of course he would of gotten a job regardless, but coming to Celtic and doing what he did gave him a better hand to negotiate. He got exactly what he wanted, hence leaving in Jan, hence doing what he did.

But I still would say that’s not being ‘propelled forwards’, it’s been with managers who could already command a job at that level and it’s not the norm.

If a Clarke or Michael O'Neill come in, win for a few seasons, they leave for a Prem club whenever they want. AVB's stock would be back up, Wagner the same.

I don't see a better club than Celtic to get a managerial career back on track or to progress your career. Winning at Celtic opens doors.

As much as I like Lennon, I really don't want him next season.

I actually thought there was at least reason to discuss sacking Rodgers and looking at Lennon. It had been obvious that the team was going backwards, the results in Europe were embarrassing and worst of all every person in the stadium could see what the problems were but Rodgers seemed top stubborn to change things.

However, since Lennon has came back in I really have to wonder what is going through his mind sometimes. Yes, we needed to be able to play a long ball once in a while so when we were getting pressed high we werent so predictable but reverting solely to long kick outs when its Tom Rogic and Calmac trying to win the headers or crossing balls into the box when the only player even near the goals is Scott Sinclair is utterly pointless.

I would like to watch a team that looked like they knew what they were supposed to be doing out there, even if the results are close.

Celtic at times look like boxer that has been knocked out a couple of fights a go and is still a bit gun-shy and hasn't quite got their confidence back and its just infuriating to watch

Think we are at the crucial stage here and no matter who comes in, its gonna be a nervy year ,I was raging after ibrox and slated through drink tbh ,I still feel the benefit of having some1 who knows the club is a good thing ,but the excitement of a new man and uniting the support at the start is also a plus .
so its a bit swings and roundabouts ,wotever that means , probably very undecided atm which way I want us to go regarding a manager ,if its not a major headline grabbing signing then I'm more than happy to back lenny to the hilt .
