Cheers for the shout, got BTTS 1h bet up.

Been a week of near misses though. Blackburn drawing with Ipswich on Wednesday done me for £350 from a £5 5 fold, had Aberdeen to beat the huns at a ridiculous 13/2!

Then last night had a £5 BTTS&W treble returning £280 with Villa, Norwich and WBA. WBA won 3-0 and Swansea missed a penalty in the most ridiculous fashion.

They are doing this again this year Winter. However my mate that usually does the maths for this has flown out to Austria this morning to do the Vienna marathon so I will have to do all the donkey work myself this year.

I've done it mate. Not sure if I have got maximum value out of it but whichever horse wins it wins me between £105-£110. So then apart from £10 the other 4 places will all be profit whoever they are.

I did it this afternoon so there may have been some price changes at at least 1 horse has dropped out but I put the following on

    7-2 = £16.41 ew
    10-1 - £7.19 ew
    12-1 - £6.76 ew
    14-1 - £5.51 ew
    20-1 - £ 3.71 ew
    25-1 - £3.16 ew
    33-1 - £2.41 ew
    40-1 - £2.09 ew
    50-1 - £1.62 ew
    66-1 - £1.31 ew
    80-1 - £1.08 ew
    100-1- £0.88 ew

So I bet £239.54, £119.77 I got back straight away so like I said once my returns get to £119.77 for the winner and the places anything else I get from the 2-5 places is profit.

Naw half your money back ( up to £125) on any each way bet so if you put £20 on any horse each way they automatically give you £20 back so you can have £250 worth of bets and it will only cost you £125. I backed every horse this afternoon and as I was doing it they were giving me half my money back instantly on each horse so it only cost me £125 ( bit less actually as one is a NR.) I'll probably only make about £50 off it but it is £50 for nowt.

Actually think it should be a bit more than that maybe £90

I'm trying to work out if it's better doing it this way and sitting on your return stake, or increasing the value of the bets slightly, using the initial stake to cover part of the field, and then putting the return on the rest of the field so though you're back to £0 the returns should be higher, if it'll make a real difference or just even out anyway. probably even out unless more of the favourites place, but I'm * at maths so I could be wrong.

Just make sure your original stake doesn't go over £250 split across the horses mate as the max refund is £125 so if you go over £250 you won't be getting it all back.:50:

I see what you mean that may be worth doing. I will have a look tomorrow if I get chance. To take maximum advantage of that you are probably best checking oddschecker and the exchanges and getting the best possible price for your refunded £125.

I'm thinking you might not even have to put £250 up to get £125 back, if you're going to put it all back on, need to check the terms on the return and again being * at maths, but lets say you put £160 down on a sliding scale over the first third of the field, get £80 back and place that on the middle of the field, get £40 back from that (£120 total) and use that to cover the crazy outsiders with like a quid e/w, be at £0 when the race starts but smaller initial outlay. Again it'll probably work out the same as just betting a full £250 and taking your return back out first, but if you don't have £250 to lay down at the start, it could be a good way to get the most out of the offer at lower amounts.

That's if the offer lets you rinse it like that, using what was already returned on previous bets.

Does that return you got look like it's gone straight back into your normal balance to play with, or segregated off at all like with some of those offers where you put in money and they'll double it but you need to play through it X number of times before you can actually touch it?

It was instant mate. So as soon as I backed one horse I got half it back into my balance before I moved onto backing the next horse. So yeah you don't have to put £250 into your account at any point.

*, haven't used my bet365 account in that long I didn't realise they'd put a £50 weekly deposit limit on it, so much for taking full advantage of that £125 return. :56:
