    It's a pity he's not fit enough to play but I agree that he needs to be handled carefully. I mean because his fitness problems seem to point to something that is persistent and needs to be addressed with long term fitness in mind because it would be a disaster if his ability or long term career was hampered due to ill judged management from our training and medical staff.

    I know it's been said a lot already but that last derby game was so confusing, I've never seen a player come back from injury, not get played when it was obvious we needed him then he was injured again without playing. It's just the kind of thing that can make us doubtful about our staff's ability to look after players. Although Brendan's team and tactics that day were quite bizarre for a guy who is so successful because of his tactical nous.

    Hayes for the rest of season for me. If Tierney ain't 100 for the semi, don't bother trying. He needs to be fully rested and back to full fitness.
