It was ok I thought but the song was * - dont know if it was a song they done or the Europa League theme tune? and there wasnt enough flashing of the lights plus it never went full dark all lights out either. Could have been much better.

I also agree that YNWA wasnt as good as normal in the dark but was alright for a one off.

I want better music and better use of the lights in future. If they do the exact same against Salzburg then * should be getting sacked.

CELTIC have been rebuffed in their attempts to erect a giant 'windmill' LED screen outside their stadium.

The Hoops submitted application documents with Glasgow City Council in September 2016.

Parkhead chiefs had hoped to build the approximately 8m long by 4m high TV on a paved shamrock-shaped area to the right-hand side of the Celtic Way.

But GCC planners rejected plans to construct the illuminated screen over fears it would distract drivers on nearby London Road.

A council spokeswoman said: “The proposal was refused because it was judged contrary to planning policy in relation to signs and advertising within the City Development Plan.

"That’s because it was considered to be detrimental to road safety in terms of its size and location.”

The free standing LED sign would have been used to display live and recorded TV images as well as adverts.

English Championship side Norwich City have a similar screen in place within Carrow Road, the first of it's kind in world football.

Celtic have three months to appeal the decision as they press ahead with ambitious plans to transform the area surrounding their stadium.

In 2017, Scottish champions were given the green light to build an £18million hotel and museum.

The complex next to Celtic Park will include a new ticket office, cafe, bar and retail store - creating around 120 jobs.

Tbh,the GCC are probably more concerned about the OO and the need for more Ministry of Funny Walks in the City.

What’s the perks of this rotating screen?

I’d rather have a floating pitch and casino on the roof.

A screen and hotel might be nice. Some money spent on the defence might be nice too?

Quite nice actually. Hopefully we appeal and get it approved.

Move it elsewhere so it doesn’t ‘distract drivers’.

I'm perfectly cheery. Doesn't mean I don't want Celtic to be as good as we can possibly be. I'd always make investing in the team the priority. You're free to disagree.

The window is closed and won’t open until the summer, when the time comes there’s no doubt we’ll strengthen.

We can actually do both you know, like in the summer with the stadium upgrades and breaking our transfer record.

I'm sure we will appeal the council decision and get approval to continue making the ground/surrounding area look better.

If people really think last summer was a great example of transfer activity we're in trouble.

    Lol

Can you quote where I stated any of the above?

We’ll spend on defenders in summer and we’ll spend on Celtic Park and the surrounding areas as well, rightly so.

It’s not one or the other.
