Tierney and McGregor should be no where near that team after long term injuries. Is there a reason other than they're * why there are no huns in the team.Handy for them not having one player having to travel to * Kazakhstan.

I actually think it could work in our favour, in terms of CalMac at least. He can get some game time vs the Kazakhs and San Marino and then has a full week to recover before taking apart the huns.

On another note, I really wish we hadn't let Mulgrew go. He could easily be doing a job for us even now.

So we've got a midfielder who was the most played in world football before picking up and injury where he still hasn't been seen since....but has to go away with Scotland?

No even a single Hun in the squad..

Call me cynical but wouldn't happen to be playing the Huns as soon as the international break is over would we?

I genuinely don't see the benefit of him flying to Asia to play on a plastic pitch against hatchet men..

    I'm no suggesting they're anything special but it's 2 game's against minnows..

They're comfortably second in the league and you'd think the hun that he is he'd have someone like Jack in especially. Instead he's bringing in McGregor who should be nowhere near international traveling to Asia when clearly still no fit..

Maybe I'm just cynical but his word's of expecting everyone picked to turn up just hammers home his sly intentions. You can hear it everytime he talks as well. Right back to leaving Griff out for Naismith who is an utter wee diddy and again highlights the oddness of having zero Huns in the squad..

    Fair point amigo :50:

I just don’t think any hun merits a call up, Jack at a push for these fixtures though makes sense.

Agreed CalMac needs to be nowhere near this

My first thought was that this would be useful match practice for him. But, half way across the world to play * knows who? * that!! Wrap him in cotton wool.....

Mcgregor must have told the SFA he's available, if he's not available or fully fit he can withdraw.

There isn't a single hun that would get near international football. Ryan Jack ahead of Mcgregor, Armstrong, Mctominay, Mcginn??
    Halliday for Tierney and Robertson?

I would imagine Mcgregor will actually be keen to get minutes under his belt.

    Bannan, Fleck, Kenny McLean, Shinnie..

The number 10 Callum Paterson. Lol..

Let's no pretend the squad is picked on it's quality..

Would rather a Turnbull than half of them..

I am not happy about Tierney especially and Forrest and to a lesser extent Burke. McGregor is the only one that it doesn't bother me because as you say the minutes might actually help him be fully up to speed come the end of the month against the zombies.

Our physio is Scotland physio are they not? Surely they’ll be best placed to say whether Cal is fine or not.

Lennon actually wanted him to get a game under his belt before the Hun game as well.
