It was clear we needed Eddy on at half time to get the ball into the strikers feet, Burke always makes runs or has to come deep to pick the ball up. The lack of creativity was down to Brown and Bitton doing the same job, should of been Bitton off at half time wee Henderson worked his way into the game well.
Sinclair didn’t do much at all but he’s the type of player to get a goal when it matters.

Win our next six league games and two cup games and we definitely win the triple treble.

There's a lot of football still to be played. I've seen us throw away a league title with two minutes of the season left, so we should celebrate when we win it, not before.

It's too big a gap , I'd expect us to go into the huns game on 8 points minimum, win that it's 11 with 7 games left.

Football's not played on paper. We've dropped 7 points against those teams already this season. We need to get over yesterday's blip and get back to winning ways. Take it a game at a time. I've seen too many end of season mishaps to hang out the bunting just yet.

Mentality and confidence has a lot to do with football too , were the one who are 8pts ahead remember , win the huns game there's no coming back from that no matter if we drop the odd points.

he got it massively wrong yesterday

    eddie should have started
was no need for brown and bitton
weah should have came on earlier or instead of MJ

apart from that , the passing from the players he did select was horrendous

    Toljan is stuck in reverse

Lennon wont stand for players not performing even if its HT subbed ,wich Rodgers stuck by the likes of Sinclair even when he was having a stinker at times ,

I think people need to give aberdeen a bit of credit tbh celtic struggled alot with a high press on aberdeen, who piled people into the box and celtic couldnt get the space for a decent pass or attack, as soon as the ball broke to aberdeen they counter attacked well and we were short at the back giving them plenty of space frustrating day but aberdeen are no mugs.

Do you think Rose is on more than what Rodgers was getting?

when teams sit in its going to take a moment of magic to cut them open , a rifled shot from Rogic or a Griffiths or your looking at dribblers like Edouard and Forrest to break the lines get the first goal early then they need to open up .

Alarming that even with his double substitution at half time, it didn't change the course of the game or tempo..

On play you could argue the sheep deserved something second half breaking through us with ease..

Lost our winning home run to absolute garbage..

I want to see exciting, intelligent, modern football before the end of the season if Lennon is to secure the job on a permanent basis.

He needs to show that he has improved and progressed since the end of his first spell in charge, and he has yet to do that.

He has had a tough start, particularly under these circumstances, to be fair to him.

Aye, he needs to show he can take us to the next level.. tactically..

As I said, this result could have happened under any management given the players we had out. However it was a very flat affair which was an unexpected disappointment. I get he was probably frustrated with Sinclair so it was an understandable substitution.

Would like to see Mikey Johnston loaned for a full season to get that consistent game time.

But aye Lenny will need to show some style in winning and start putting his own stamp on the team, if he doesn’t he may not get the job.

Am afraid to say that as much as I love the man, and he was the ONLY one we could have turned to to steady the ship after the rat * off....I don't think he's got what it takes to take the club forward.

That's not to say he wouldn't get us to the ten, or qualify for the CL. I reckon he could do both assuming the Huns don't improve any. But I think the club as a whole has been working towards being a top European club in terms of professionalism for years.

Whatever you think of rodgers he ran an extremely professional operation. One which I don't think oor Lenny has the temperament to continue or build upon.

Hence I think the director of football route is the one we'll take. Someone with good European pedigree and stature, who a first team coach and staff will look up to and trust implicitly.

He'll always be a hero and a Celtic legend, but I really don't think Lenny is the man to take us to where we want to be.
