Look at Bains reaction when the goal goes in, * loves it, runs over to the support and jumps. He grew up a hearts fan as well...

Bain is definitely better looking and has more personality; but Gordon is tall. There's a couple of things I'd quite like to do with those long legs of his that I can't really explain on a family-friendly forum.

PM Mevin if anyone wants all the details.

I heard he had some Knee injury apparently, read it somewhere yesterday, think the ginger alkie mentioned it that's why he's wantin' Bain as the new #1 so he says.

Lennon revealed Gordon may require more treatment on a knee injury which has been caused by over-training since he was replaced by Bain.

"He had a bit of a knee problem," said the former Celtic captain and manager

He had an injection in it and it hasn't really settled.

"He is going to be assessed by specialists over the next couple of days and we can come to some sort of impasse where he may need another injection to settle everything down to get him back to training.

"It has been a little bit of overuse. When he has been playing he has been able to rest, but the fact that he hasn't been playing he has been training a lot more and it has just flared up an old problem."

I'd more than happy to see him out the club. He's not needed. A waste of a wage.

May be a good shot stopper on his day but he usually had a shot to save after passing it straight to the opposition.

With just under a year still left on his contract, I wonder how Gordon will be used or if he's fit. Don't see him featuring at all the rest of this season and I wonder if he's just been left out or still injured -- I feel like it's the former.

At 36, it makes me very grateful that we have Bain able to step in... part of me still wants some reinforcement in this role though...and Hazard doesn't feel ready yet.

I wonder if Hearts would consider swapping Cochrane and McDonald for Gordon.

We could bring in two promising young players and get Gordon off of our wage bill. Gordon would have to take a wage cut to move to Hearts, of course, but game time might be more important to him now, and he might want to end his career at his boyhood club.

We’ve far better players than Cochrane and MacDonald in our youth teams. I’d be astonished if Cochrane ever becomes a regular player at any sort of decent level, he’s pish.

We’re supposedly interested in another one of their youngsters Harry Stone.

His Wikipedia image shows Hearts kit all this time, so we've got to wonder who's curating... He may not be the savvy individual when it comes to tech, but the fact that a "Hearts' picture has been in effect during his whole tenure is embarrassing to the club.
