Let's face it, Rodgers will probably be back managing Celtic in a couple of years. The guy is Celtic through-and-through, he just wanted the chance to prove himself in the Premier League on double the pay.
We didn't play well today so hopefully the wheels aren't starting to come off under Lennon, as we would have stuffed these 3 or 4 nil, a month ago.
Everyone's still hurting & upset that Brendan ditched us for Leicester City, but if we end the season badly, most on here will be quick to forgive & forget and welcome him back like the prodigal son.

Leicester City paid a huge £9 million compensation fee to raid Celtic for Brendan Rodgers and his backroom team, the Daily Telegraph understands.

Rodgers was appointed as Leicester’s new manager last month and the Premier League club had to pay a significant cash sum to take him from Celtic during the season, dwarfing the £4m Everton agreed with Watford for Marco Silva.

Celtic inserted the figure into the four-year deal Rodgers signed as manager in April 2017, with the transfer fee for the Northern Irishman believed to be lower in the summer.

But after sacking Claude Puel, Leicester identified Rodgers as their No 1 target and plans to appoint him ahead of next season were brought forward.

With Rodgers also taking assistant manager Chris Davies, first-team coach Kolo Toure and head of performance Glen Driscoll to the King Power Stadium, the total cost of the deal for Leicester was £9m.

His departure from Parkhead after nearly three years in charge angered many of the club’s supporters, but Celtic feel the deal agreed with Leicester represents brilliant business.

It is one of the most expensive deals by a Premier League club for a manager already in work and again underlines the ambition of Leicester, who won the title in the 2015-16 season.

Leicester will also move into a new £80m state-of-the-art training ground within the next year, which is already expected to be one of the best in world football.

Rodgers said: “It’s the first steps of a really exciting journey for us. From the first day we’ve set up a clear vision of how we want to work.

“The environment is very important. I’ve found a really young group of players, which I was aware of, with some really experienced group around it.

“It’s a really exciting job here because of the improvements that I see we can make to the team. I think they have enjoyed the work so far but we still have a lot of work to do.”

Rodgers will take his third Leicester game this weekend at Burnley on Saturday.
