Oko flex just sounds like someone who should be a world class pler.

Flex Armstrong has world class bodybuilder written all over it. Literally.

 

Any idea if kerr McInroy is good enough to break through?Always been impressed by him in youth games,notice he was reserve captain yesterday

 

So MJ and Henderson have both gotten some first team game time this season. Who else from the development squad is is good enough/deserves a run out with the first team?

I’d say McInroy, Okoflex and Aitchison all have the potential to break through.

Aitchison’s loan spells have been poor so far but he’s still very young tbf.

The young boy Compper looked awrite as well.

 

Hope I'm wrong but can't help but get a James Keatings/Greig Spence vibe from Aitchison, as in someone who absolutely smashes it at youth level but can't make the proper step up. Technique wise he's far better than either of those ever were but just have to look at the difficulty Griff has had getting into a BR team let alone Aitchison. Suppose he's got potential to play a deeper role but with Henderson, Oko-Flex and Karamoko coming through he's got some competition in that department.

Oko-Flex, like Karamoko, just seem levels above anything they come up against. Only difference being Oko-Flex already looks like he's close to being able to handle himself physically whereas Dembele will take a while (obviously given he's 15 ) but still doesn't stop me hoping we see both before the end of the season.

McInroy kinda reminds of McGregor in that he just seems to fly under the radar whilst constantly churning out good (or at worst solid) performances. During McGregor's time it was F.Twardzik and McGeouch getting all the attention whilst McGregor (and Irvine tbf to him) just quietly went about their business. Hopefully we've got a similar development plan with McInroy cause a good loan next season to an English League 1 side could set him up well to come back and challenge.

Actually think Welsh has got a chance as well, made good progress over the last year or so. Not saying much but I'd already have him ahead of Hendry. Could do with a loan next season where he'll get plenty of game time cause playing between that diddy Duffy at RB and whatever trainwreck of a CB they pair him with really isn't doing him any favours.

How's Mazis fairing in the reserves? All the mention is about OkoFlex and Dembele these days, but I'd be expecting something to show from Leo soon as well.

 

Just been to Rugby Park, very decent game, as expected Oko-Flex was the stand out player, looks a bag of talent and looks the most obvious player to break through, if nothing else I can now say I’ve seen Compper in more than 1 game, he looked very composed today.

Scott Allan also deserves a mention, no idea why he has been cast adrift with seemingly no way in to the team, his skill and attitude to day was brilliant and someone is going to pick up a decent midfielder when he ineviatably leaves.

Watching a game in a t shirt in February was certainly a wonderful thing today

 

Looking at our next home game v hearts on 11th. Are they still at cappielow? Was thinking of going along. Any info appreciated.
