He had some good games by by * he sold a pile of goals mostly with * stops which he pushed riggt in front of on rushing strikers, Seville and Rangers 3-3 at Parkhead most notably.

Rab Douglas was the major major weakness in that MON side. A top keeper and that side would have made an impact in UCL.

Douglas played behind the best defence of the lot I would say though. At the time I would say MoNs team could probably beat every team in Europe we beat some good sides on the way to Seville. Where as under WGS McManus and Caldwell both had lapses in them. When Lenny was here other teams just started to spend too much money for us to compete. Under Deila and BR we just can't cope with the best teams due to the money they spend.

Haha nah think it shows how good our other GKs are most have conceded less than 2 a game when we have had the likes of Lee Naylor and Efe Ambrose in the team

Douglas conceded 29 more European goals than oor Bainy has. Let's stop with this nonsensical comparison.

I really hope not. He's decent but we absolutely need better if we seriously want to progress in Europe. Boruc and Forster showed the importance of having a really good keeper not that it isn't obvious.

Nothing against the guy but he just isn't ever going to reach a level that we could easily find with proper scouting.

The fact that Gordon was untouchable for so long is worrying.

I agree to a point but we can definitely find someone a few levels above. Don't think he's ever going to be a guy who can make a difference in Europe and that's what we need so we don't continue to fall further behind.
