Lion bars but the ones from 20 years ago, used to get off the bus 2 stops before school everyday so I could go to the shop and buy two lion bars, plan was always to keep one for later but would always eat the two before I got to the school.

    Lion bars today are *

Twix another favourite but these days the chocolate is all smaller, a regular twix now is like a fun size one back in the day, same for the king size.

Are you sure you ain’t bullshitting? I don’t know anyone who can eat a few. Everybody gets to the last one and thinks “* * this is the last one.” If you did I commend your resilience. See last night after you said this I thought guy is having us on and now I’m going back to my gut instinct.:76:

If you had seen the plate of Bolaignaise I inhaled a half hour before then you would understand why. Also, my partner would not be impressed if I didn't save her a few.

Morrisons sell them, haven't seen them as bars but they do sell them as individually wrapped sweets, wife likes them.

From my childhood, it would have to be the good old Wham Bar or a Mars.

Any body remember wee plastic footballs full of ice cream? I think it was around the late sixties early seventies and could have been a world cup promotional thing. I used to buy them from the Cappochi man ice cream van.

Star bar and fruit salad / black jacks.....had a big thing at school dinner time, getting a bag of Worcester sauce French fries and a star bar. Crunching up the crisps and then swallowing a mouthful while taking a bite on the star bar......HEAVEN.
