Was at his best when McGregor was allowed to get forward and link up with him.

Suffered as a result of McGregor playing out of position at left back.

Left isolated for much of the game by our set-up.

Was playing the Rogic role but had to come deep a lot of the time to help us play out from the back because Ntcham wasn’t willing to go for the short ball. Not much more he could have did considering the circumstances

RC: No one is going to come to Celtic Park and lie down, everyone is going to put up a fight. That’s something we’ve had to get used to and we know it’s going to be hard."

RC: "Airdrie at the weekend made it difficult for us at times. I’m sure St Mirren will come and look to try and frustrate us.

RC: "Dubai was nice to get away, work hard and get back to peak conditioning. We have that hunger and excitement for the games coming up now so we just want to get back into it."

RC on new Bhoys: "Both seem to have hit the ground running which is exactly what we all want. Everybody needs to fight for their place and it raises everyone’s game."

RC: "I'm happy with the way I broke into the team before the turn of the year. Now I know the hard work isn’t over so I need to kick on contribute to the team."

Lovely free kick leading to the first goal, I take it he'll be on set pieces from now on.

Fastly turning into my favourite player for that very reason. Works his socks off, and skillful with it. Undroppable now.

This was an argument I used for ages about McGregor, while others we're piling into him. Players with that work ethic will always grow into great players with our setup.

That's not strictly too.. McGregor has lots and lots of ability, he works his socks off too.. but players who only have a work ethic won't make it here. You need both ability and the right attitude to make it here.. Johnny Hayes for example has the desire but isn't good enough and Ntcham has bundles of class but a questionable attitude.. luckily Christie has both and bit of dig too..

That's true mate. I think Calmac is also undroppable now. His work ethic is superb too

No question work ethic is a great attribute for a player to have, but that and that alone isn't enough, you can run around the pitch like a blue-arsed fly, but without ability or game intelligence it counts for very little.

Aye but the thing I always say is with players of the ability that we have, if we match the work ethic of other teams, we will win.

Oli got the MOTM and why not when he sinks 2 golas on his debut, but I thought Christie was great. A bit of dig, endless running, set up the first, tracked back when needed......
Buyig young players and then farming them out on loan for a couple of seasons can be really frustrating, but if you were to gaurantee a Christie-esk turn around in performance and progression then bring it on....

I think especially domestically, if we move the ball quickly we will win most games, a lot of our problems have come from arsing around outside our own penalty area, or sloppy passing when coming out of defence.

I hate it when we are slow and predictable, the players we have a far better than that, sometimes though it's as if they need a rocket up the * lol !
