Simples....that's because one could stroll it even at half tilt and the other guy so far gives us maybe 1 in 5 (and that's generous) and looks far from strolling it!!! Big big difference!!

Not even close to being the same thing. Van Dijk was class, he could have played in his slippers up here.

How's Jason Easton doing? I hope he has a fight lined up.

I don’t know about the criticism. Obviously half hearted or cumbersome performance are deserving of scrutiny but I think this lad gets it hard sometimes. He has had good games and then demoted to the bench for next game. A lack of consistency isn’t helping to get him back on the level when he cemented his team place. Big Ntcham has bags of talent and good enough to go up against the best but then he lets himself down with stupid decisions and lacklustre performance. I’m sticking with him because i believe he can be a big talent.

Van Dijk’s performances looked effortless because of his ability; Ntcham’s performances look effortless because of his lack of effort - big difference.

van Dijk had a lot of bad games here, they were far outweighed by extremely comfortable performances, but he was still poor at times. Ntcham was more than comfortable for the vast majority of last season. This season he's struggled with injury, and the player he would've been closest to in the squad has left - his form is always going to dip in that case.

Sell Ntcham with no real long term cover just Yaya for 6 months it's the Celtic way. Fans shafted again.

Hope everyone who wants him punted asap realises we’d have to replace him just as soon. Should look at bringing in Mbemba regardless. Rumour sounds a bit farfetched anyway.

Van Dijk took the absolute * domestically because he was levels above it. As Vertie said, he looked nonchalant because he was that good.

Ntcham isn't even close to that level.

    Sell Ntcham and Boyata £18m
Get Mbemba and Toure in along with a RB and all is well! More money to add to the pot!

Anything over £10m i’d sell him, the lad clearly doesn’t play for the badge, it’s all about himself, doesn’t look like he’s enjoyed his time here. get £10m and get some one in who gets what it’s all about and appreciates playing for a club of our size, competing for trophies.

Ntcham was brilliant last year and is a blatantly classy player who probably has been sulking since Dembele left and maybe had fitness issues too. There are literally a dozen players i'd sell before him.

We should be looking for 12 million plus - not because he's better than Wanyama or Van Dijk but the market has gone utterly crazy thanks to the * neymar. Selling him now would be stupid for any fee as we can't/won't reinvest properly in Jan.

Folk wanting Ntcham shot are off their * heads.

The market is not * because of Neymar, it’s * due to those * clowns down in the greatest league in the universe.

Not really. The EPL was always its own wee bubble due to the crazy tv money but neymar has shot up worldwide prices a good 30% single handedly.

Example Liverpool got 75 million for world class Suarez a few years ago yet 160 million for Coutinho, who couldn't lace Suarez' boots. Insane. Barca also spunked 150+ on Ousmane Dembele, who isn't worth half that.

Anyway this is actually good for Celtic as we can now get good value for our players e.g. Dembele 20 mill despite not being as good as Van Dijk who we only got 12 mill for in the pre neymar world.

A young, talented ex Man City player with Champions League, Europa League and Serie A experience - if we accept less than 15 million for Ntcham we're officially retarded as a club.
