The arguement being when on peds you can train that kick 10000 more times more harder more intense than someone that isn’t.

Recover quicker train more rinse repeat.

I’m aware of that, which is why I said who I have in contention for that spot under different scenarios.

It’s enirely possible Fedor was on PEDs, same for any fighter. There is significantly more evidence for Jones being on PEDs than Fedor though.

And the advantage one can receive from them is huge. Technique takes a large degree of physicality. Things like strength, speed and power can all be enhanced with PEDs. You can’t learn a technique from it, but executing any technique becomes easier if you’re fresher, connecting becomes easier if you’re quicker and hurting someone becomes easier if you’re more powerful.

It’s hard to have any evidence of PED’s when you go through the majority of your career untested and he’s from somewhere notorious for it.

I’ve always been sceptical but always given him the benefit of the doubt as there is no smoke. However, as you mentioned with the possibility of Jones fighting guys who were also using, Fedor has been fighting juiced guys his entire career too.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Rogan got it spot on and Fedor hit back at him, but what he said is fair as we don’t know.

"Until you know for sure, you can't say you know, but I would imagine the possibility is high. He looked big. Go back and look at what he looked like against Fujita. He was a thick *. He didn't look anything like he looked when he fought Bigfoot Silva. So what happened? Did he stop lifting weights? That's possible. Or, did he stop taking whatever the * he was taking? That's possible too. He's obviously in the pocket of some very wealthy people who would want him to do well at all costs."

Love seeing Khabib in full troll mode, even it was a bit unprompted in this case.

    Ah * I just saw :giggle1:

Posting long-winded speeches complaining about another guy * is always a bit ironic. He doesn’t really have a leg to stand on when it comes to trolling Khabib.

Why, because he beat him? Can he not troll Sitenkov, Duffy or Diaz either?

    Well, yes.

They’re fighters. The bragging rights go to the guy who gets his hands raised. Particularly when they do so in devastating fashion. The rest is just filler.

Sitenkov and Duffy are not on McGregor’s level and he avenged the Diaz loss, albeit there’s certainly still rivalry there given Diaz’s original win. The Khabib situation is hugely different - at this stage, and until McGregor does something other than talk about fighting - Khabib is just better.

Doesn’t work quite like that, if it did Ali wouldn’t be considered the greatest sportsman of all time never mind the greatest combat sports star.

He most certainly ‘trolled’ Norton and Frazier, even after both beat him.

He isn’t considered to be a legendary fighter because of his ability to troll people.

He lost to Norton and immediately rematched him and beat him.

He lost to Frazier, fought 13 times inside the next 3 years, rematched Frazier and beat him.

The key difference being - he fought. He didn’t just talk about fighting.

No complaints about McGregor continuining to have a go at Diaz after being tapped, because he chased the rematch, got it, and won.

With Khabib though? He got beaten in humiliating fashion. There’s literally nothing he can say at this stage that Khabib can’t trump using a single photograph.

He can say what he wants if it helps build toward a rematch.
