Whether they back her or not Williams has made a complete * of herself, she had been warned and still continued her *. The rules whether right or wrong are there for both sexes in tennis not just the female association. For me the umpire took a lot more off her than what she is calling him out on.

I’m not condoning her tantrum either, but I’d say there is a double standard in tennis when it comes to genders.

Aye I agree on stuff like prize money and promotion of the men’s game compared to the women’s, but I honestly don’t get it here tbh. She has had a massive strop lost the final and has gone off on an even bigger rant taking away any focus on the eventual winner. She’s a * imo.

As I said in the other thread, I'm not a fan of her as a tennis player.

She had a complete hissy fit because she knew she was losing and then tried to cover/justify her unacceptable comments to the umpire under woman's rights. What a bad loser it's time to hang up your racket old girl! The cartoon incidentally was absolutely bang on and not racist in any way!

Absolutely gutted by that, it was the sad but inevitable end unfortunately. Hopefully he makes it through for one more Wimbledon but it’s looking increasingly unlikely.

    You Alan Brazil in disguise?

Big tough men aren’t allowed to shed tears.

Tennis has been his entire life and now his career has been cut short in the worst way.

    * up.

Outrageous response to a perfectly reasonable post.
    You calm yourself down.
I personally don’t see the need to cry in public.

What a career man. And he’s only 31.

His legacy is assured no matter what he does now.

The guy’s career has just been taken away from him, he can sit and bubble if he wants to.

Why can’t you have a debate without throwing insults at anyone with a different opinion?
Not sure where Alan Brazil comes into this.
I like Andy Murray but crying at a press conference when he knew what he was going to say seemed a bit much to me.

It's not a debate. You're criticising someone for being human.

There's nothing wrong with crying or being emotional, in public, in private, whenever.

Just read Alan Brazil’s comments which were utter nonsense but still think that Murray could have controlled himself better in a pre planned press conference.

Not saying he did anything wrong but, in my opinion, the whole thing was a bit over the top and a bit silly.
With everything going on in the world, a multi-millionaire crying over the end of his successful tennis career isn’t something I have any sympathy with.
You obviously don’t agree but let’s leave it at that.
