Heavyweight is pretty weak too. I want him to do it, he just doesn’t need to yet.

That's true I'd never accept someone that's popped as the being the best ever.

It's not the strongest I generally think MMA is better at the lighter weight classes it's stronger than light heavy weight though.

He probably won't fight DC again unless he's willing to go up and even then DC probably wouldn't fight him unless he was clean. It's probably a non starter in an ideal world it's the fight to make though.

Ideally I want him to fight Smith, Rockhold and either Thiago Santos or Reyes depending on results.

He can do that this year.

Then move up to heavyweight, DC will be gone but fight Miocic, Lesnar and hopefully Cain. That’s 3 massive fights.

That's a fun card, Woodley v Usman is best fight there dunno who wins that. Zabit v Stephens should be fun why it lasts, I fancy Holm and Asken to school their opponents but it interesting if Lawler can stop the takedowns. I always like watching Gall, and OSP v Cirkunov is a pick em'. Jones knocks out Smith I don't think he will have much trouble in that fight at all.

Be funny as * if Lawler stops Askren taking him down and knocks * out of him.

What a * Card, the main event is arguably one of the weaker fights. When has that been said before?

Normally when Mighty Mouse is the main event. Not his fault, his opponents.

UFC 178 had some card when he fought Cariaso.

    McGregor Poirier
    Cerrone Alvarez
    Romero Kennedy
    Zingano Nunes

Cruz, Lee, Wonderboy, Masvidal all fighting too. Before many of them were stars tbf.

Genuine question to the Jones fans saying he’s the GOAT.

How do his failed drugs tests affect your decision?

It doesn’t. Even some of his opponents and people in the industry say it doesn’t. It’s not just “Jones fans”.

When someone that had a massive part of foiling the Russian Olympic drug scandal says that the amount found would give no advantage, it tells you what you need to know.

    They don’t.

To me he’s just levels above anyone when it comes to MMA. His intelligence and creativity in the cage is insane.

I assume you’re referring to the latest incident?

He’s tested positive on a number of occasions.

I would agree about his intelligence and creativity. What I would state though - these things are assisted by having a higher level of strength and conditioning. If you’re fresher than you otherwise might be in rounds 4/5 then you’ll be stronger, and able to execute techniques significantly better.

The '* pills' excuse one was worse than this one, to be honest; at least there is some ambiguity around the latest one (enough for Jones to slink away from it unscathed, anyway). The clomiphene failure was blatant.

Yeh, sadly we’ve not had his opinion on the other tests.

See below regarding the first failed test. There isn’t going to be enough for an advantage.

The 2nd failed test I can’t explain or defend because Jon Jones word is the only defence he has, so none of us know what happened.

He’s the greatest fighter of all time. I’m not a Jon Jones * rider, I think he’s a bit of a walloper, but I can appreciate greatness when I see it and I was lucky to watch him fight since his debut in the UFC.

Taking a contaminated substance which USADA confirmed was contaminated. Banned for a year and paid his dues even though the arbitration said he never took it intentionally and wasn’t a cheat. Hardly blatant is it.
