Seems another cheap option. Don't know anything about him, could turn out to be good but with us getting the PSG kid we need a bit more experience as well

Seems like a gamble signing,he might be brilliant, but why take the risk?go and sign someone who scores goals at a good level

A lot of our experienced signings haven't worked out too well in the past , we need to scout well Van Dijk,Wanyama,Dembele and Edouard etc have all been young and raw but turned out the best. but then there's always bangura's and amido balde's.

A striker that can score a header ? Doubt it.

Looks worth a shot. At least he looks like a proper number 9.

I'd prefer to stay away from Africa, 1. Most are mercenaries and 2. Not too keen on their ability, especially Strikers, usually erratic as *. Prefer we stick to Europe, Scandinavia, Dutch or likes.

Kanu, Adebayor, Eto’o, Drogba, Salah, Weah, Kanoute, Mané...Yeah, very erratic. Then for every Larsson, Sutton that we had, there was a Ciftci, Pukki, Scepovic or Brozek. Maybe the continent of strikers has * all to do with anything?:56:

Africa has a bigger population than Europe, name a euro/africa xi see many of them would get in the team from now till even way back.

For me ratio from good to bad is way too risky for us.

Ffs, was there ever an African player who you can remember before Roger Milla and George Weah.?

I'm not a fan, and just don't see it myself, also their Defenders are woeful too and few of good ability.

    Are you serious?
So because teams were * 40 years ago their still *?
Football is constantly evolving ffs, look at countries in the top ten now.
ivory coast has been churning out great talent also.

As for your last comment, koulibaly at napoli, baily at utd, alot of the french lads have african roots.

I suggested him a few weeks ago. He was being scouted by Galatasaray. He's very quick and fitness won't be a problem. What i've been looking for are players who are incredibly mobile in terms of covering the pitch and he can certainly do that and has a great scoring record in a smaller league.
£1.75 million is a good price.

An out and out no 9, proper goalscorer. Rapid, and loves a header.

It's a yes from me. I have a feeling 1.75 million falls into the derisory category.
