Yes, Norway gave the aerosol spray can to the world...our myriad varieties of paints, lubricants, cleaners, resins, hairstyle holders and ozone layer destroyers are due to our Norwegian friends!

They also gave us the cheese slicer:

"Norway's crème de la crème invention and arguably the Scandinavia's biggest contribution to human existence is the invention of the cheese slicer. Thor Bjørklund is the name of the man that human society is indebted to for his contribution to society.

Working as a master carpenter, Thor was not unused to handle a carpenter's plane. After some experimentation, he successfully came up with a design for a plane-like tool, fit for slicing cheese. Thor was awarded the patent for, what we today know as, the cheese slicer in 1925.

    [IMG]The Original Cheese Slicer

His clever design soon became an international phenomenon and even today, cheese slicer found in most kitchen cabinets around the world are generally based on Thor Bjørklund's original design"

As long as it’s not like the old Viking invasions!

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scandinavian_Scotland

But, the modern Norwegians/Scandinavians are a far more peaceful lot than their bearded, axe-swinging, marauding, women-stealing Viking ancestors!

fancy that in Scotland? Oh, forgot, there's no fkn land available for the ordinary citizens to buy......
never mind - still got the beautiful scenery carefully preserved by the everlasting feudal system, which - according to some, is something we should be so fkn grateful for :)

good night fellow Celts!!!!! it's been certainly the one to remember!
