Last year I read about a guy suing the hunt because of the * conditions he worked under. Says he was at their beck and call, paid a pittance and forced to live in a tiny caravan which he had to slop out in every day. Says that if it wasn't for his love of the job he'd have chucked it years ago. He won thousands in backdated wages.

He loves a job which he gets to set up equipment for the over privileged to hunt down small animals. *'s no better than any of them and I'm glad his living conditions were * for many years.

Much better going lamping and blowing their wee faces off with a shotgun anyway.

An animal living out it exsistence in peace and then we - the so called advanced ones go out to kill an animal that isn't even a threat to us just for fun.

    I'm not picky.
Completely pointless excuse just to kill an animal for the pure sake of it by a bunch of toffee-nosed *-up's that think they are better than anyone else.

hunting to keep animal populations a manageable size is another valid reason and it actually does the populations good gene pool wise.

although i absolutely agree hunting foxes with horses and dogs is cruel and wrong. only reason to kill foxes in particular, is to protect livestock and that's usually done with a rifle and a lamp, not a toff and his dogs

I wouldn't mind if they did it in urban areas to get rid of horrible giant rats. Although if people weren't so minging and put their rubbish etc in the bin the foxes probably wouldn't bother with urban areas.

People seem to be going way over the top regarding fox attacks at the moment.

Dangerous dogs should be number 1 on the agenda along with their scum owners

Ive been to "corridas" in spain, going with a few friends a couple of times, both in madrid and sevilla. Despite trying with my best intentions to find the artistic, the metaphoric part that Orson Welles, hemingway and so many foreigners found fascianting during their time in spain , I just couldnt pass the sheer cruelty and torture to the poor defenceless animal. I understand theres much mroe than meets the eye in bullfighting and still find it barbaric. fox hunting is the same but without the deep metaphor, without the artistic part, all being replaced by sheer debauchery and decadence without the balls of the matador to get alone in front of the half a ton animal.

Its embarrassing and * and hopefully it'll end very soon with a few other habits that need to die.

If we have to manage the urban fox population it should be carried out with a degree of sadness, if we take pleasure from killing anything in the name of SPORT we are in serious trouble as a species.

Enjoy the game , hopefully we can edge this tie, GO FOR IT CELTIC.

totally agree with bullfighting being cruel. I'm always hoping the bull punts the Matador in the plums or something. Recortes bull fighting is amazing though, and the bull isn't harmed at all. You must have some set of balls to want to be a recortador

Anyone saw the pictures of the hunt from today?

The * chased a fox on to a dual carriageway and one of their dogs got hit by a car.You can tell by the way the sick * are carrying the thing away that they couldn't give a *.

There's been much worse pics doing the rounds recently - hunt saboteurs carrying what's left of a fox away etc.

It's supposed to be banned - why do these tory scumbags keep getting away with it?
