Would be good in a back 3 let the other 2 CBs play out from the back, he is a very good defender. Strong, aggressive, good reader of the game. We could do worse.

Grand old team to play for
I wouldn't be * off if we brought him in. He does look like he can defend, he's strong and he's not slow. If Brendan wants to spend money on McKenna, he must think he can become a good player.

Brendan spent money on Jack Hendry. There is far better value for money out there if we scout properly

No,we need to get better than decent SPFL players.

It'll be time to strengthen and do it right in January.

Mckenna has looked decent recently but he is still not what we require in January. Brendan will no doubt go for him but the sheep are daft and will thankfully request something * like 7 million.

Excellent performance vs the Huns last night based on highlights. Commanding, last ditch defending, scoring!

Definitely worth a punt but would need to bring an experienced CB in to play alongside him (once Benko and Boyata are history!)

    No offence....but
Groundhog day in here just like hendry.

Hes pure pish. And a couple of half decent performances andca good shift against a woeful sevco side are hardly markers for what we need to progress.

Weve been saying the same * for 3 seasons now...

We need a solid, proven, experienced cb with decent pedigree. No more * projects.

If we pish more money away down the "hes done really well in the spl" drainpipe i will literally vomit.

Hes not good enough. Just like hendry.

5-7m gets us a competent experienced CB with room for development and resale value.

McKenna gives us a possible nightmare scenario of heading into european qualifiers with a back 2 of hendry and mckenna... let that sink in.

We cant afford to * around the way we lost out on schaar.

He would be the Scottish equivalent of Bobo ... given time, maybe, possibly, perhaps

Seriously I think the biggest problem he would face is trying to play to BR style, which begs a question ..

    Of course not.

Benkovic... like ajer.... is a class act in need of development. You can see he still has some inadequecies in his game but a fair trade off for his natural ability.

We need a solid and experienced leader at the back with euro pedigree at the right age. I was shocked when i found out that boyata is 28 as he still plays like hes 22. Hes bern great this season but still lacking.

We need serious investment at the back... and if we * 8 odd million on mckenna it would be a disgrace. That kind of money could get us real real quality on the continent.

I just want somecunt good. The likes of Benkovic or when we got Van Dijk, wouldn’t rule them out just because they’re not experienced.
