Not the result we wanted tonight but missing a penalty and having a goal chopped off didn't help. Rogic had the chance to pass the ball out wide and decided to turn inside list it then won it back only to lose it again the ball goes up the park and Gambia didn't get it clear with the header and it breaks and ends up in the back of the net unfortunately.

All the players in the Real team would walk into the Eibar team that horsed them recently, same as all the Barca players would walk into the Leganes squad that beat them, and arguably the Betis team that beat them. The players that we've brought in generally are good enough; just sometimes things don't click. BR recognised it wasn't a great performance. * happens, I'm not concerned at the moment.

The thing that most annoying is Motherwell were absolutely pish tonight
Should have been sitting 3 or 4-0 up after an hour laughing at the scum

Could have been worse and 1point away far better than nae points at home

Need to get this away form in the league on track, only 3 wins so far and we still have Aberdeen, Hibs and Rangers to come, already lost to Hearts and Killie.

Guy gets loads right, and get loadsa of and deservedly so praise for it
He said it was nothing to do with team changes can’t agree with that
Played our best starting 11at Dundee Hamilton and Perth score 13 concede 0
    9 points from 9

Play a fringe team at Motherwell, Kilmarnock m hearts score 2 and concede 4
1 point from 9, we just have to realise we are not good enough at the moment to play half a fringe team
People keep saying we should be good enough to drop half a team and beat Motherwell
Maybe we should but results constantly prove we aren’t

I'm looking at it like this: Missing the penalty was unfortunate, and having a good goal chopped off was unfortunate too, on another night when luck's on our side, we'd have come away with a 3-1 win. So no concern whatsoever. Good that we can put out 7 changes and weren't pumped 3-0 by a below average Motherwell side, that would have been concerning.

Anytime we’ve played the fringe players and either lost or drawn, the games we’ve rested the guys for Aek and Salzburg we’ve lost anyway

We were unlucky, but I also feel the insistence to play out from the back allowed Motherwell back into the game.

We were doing fine with one winger, the problems started when another one came on the park.

Honestly, after the cup and Leipzig game, I was expecting dropped points here. Benko's goal should've stood, and someone else should've hit that penalty, but it is what it is. Just need to stuff Kilmarnock on Saturday and normality will be restored. :50:

Motherwell goal was a free-kick on Gamboa. Gamboa rose up to head it and the Motherwell player bodychecks him. One player's in mid air, the other barges into him, free-kick, game over.
That being said i don't know why Gamboa lets the ball bounce.

Totally agree with you for sure it was a foul on Gamboa. Having said that it was a below par performance no question about it which left the door open for something like that to happen. Although Benkovic's goal being chalked off was yet another show of incompetence from the ref. That was a perfectly good goal no question about it. Disappointing night for sure.

Especially when you have 1 or 2 players who fxxx it up and give away possession needlessly
