You missed the small print, I said post-war, as in since WW2.

Not exactly huge in todays game. However, last years player bonuses will be included in it. Getting to the CL and winning a treble will be big bonuses.

Hopefully that is included. I'm sure it will...

This will include all staff wages too, I'd guess. I just think it's a lot of money but if we continue making the CL then I'm sure it's easily sustainable for us, no problem.

The bonuses must be massive as theres no chance the actual age-bill is above say £38million. So about £15millionish must have been bonuses. Wouldn't suprise me if Rodgers gets a £1million bonus alone just for getting into the CL. Players probably on a lot as well maybe £50k per appearance if we make the CL and then maybe something like £50k per point gained in the CL as well. Then there are maybe bonuses for the Treble again, could be something like £10k per appearance in the Treble run.

Who knows though, clearly massive money dished out.

There is a player that's made no contribution in this years champions league or any of the qualifiers and pocketed 52k bonus for us reaching the champions league. Don't know if every player got the same bonus but this player definitely received 52k.

I'm sure we have paid more money to charity than any team in the UK but can't seem to find it anywhere.

Does anyone have a link to this please?

Was just reading some nerdy stats. Quite interesting. Celtic are the 24th most popular club by monthly website visits. Yet we're not in the top 30 for revenue - entirely due to TV money as both our shirt sponsorship and kit maker deals are in the top 25.

Also our attendances went up on average by nearly 10 thousand due to Brendan coming to the club and we're the 8th best supported club in Europe.

I'd say these are very impressive stats considering we've done nothing in Europe since 2012 and are up against teams in far larger countries. If you were to work it out per capita i've no doubt Celtic would be 1 of the best supported clubs in the world, considering we get just less than a million website views a month in a country of only 5 million, and Real Madrid get 8 million views in a nation of over 50 million.

It's heartening to see that despite the fact the CL is now basically a closed shop and we're extremely unlikely to properly compete in it again, we compare very well with the other elite clubs in every way other than revenue.

Predictable from Sky, they treat us with contempt.

Mind they sent Tanner and McCann for League Trophy day in the 16/17?

The sooner we give the fingers to Rupert Murdoch's flagging Sports channel the better as far as I'm concerned.

Is there a specific reason for it being in June?
