Good 2nd half Poor first, Hes a talent only young . When he gets space to run into use his pace and dribble good.

Fine lines in football, he squares that ball at the end, he’s had a very good game. Without it, it seems quiet and a bit iffy decision making.

His close control is unreal sometimes though.

I can't help but feel he is a natural left attacker in a 4-3-3 rather than a centre forward. He's doing well.

He's not a centre forward, plays his best fitba drifting off to the left and cutting in.

Would be unreal playing off of a real big * of a CF in the mould of a Sutton or Hartson.

Nah, doing one thing in a game does not equate to having a very good game.

I think he needs a rest.

He's perfect up top in a 2 imo. Just we need someone like dembele to win and hold the ball and for edouard to drift out. Anyone know if we're seriously considering that big striker from red star belgrade?

Really should've squared that ball across at the end. I get that strikers want to shoot when they're in the box but when 3 guys are queueing up for a tap in you've got to play the easy ball.

He's been brilliant for us, just needs to improve on his decision making at times.

Eddie is developing well as a player, with plenty of room to approve, with the ability to step up. That said yesterday was not a great day, a few missed opportunities, some poor decisions, that I can let go.....but towards the end of the game he seemed to lose interest, stand off the man, not chase down.....maybe tiredness, but I beleive there is a little lack of desire at times.

What else did he do ? He had a one, maybe two, half decent runs with the ball but his decision making let him down. It's not just him though. Yesterday and against Rosenborg we were poor in the last third of the pitch. I don't know if it's tiredness or something else but we look like we're trying to walk the ball into the net at a sometimes sluggish pace.

Rogic has been a bit of a disappointment aswell, his shot that hit the post was decent but apart from that he looks like he's struggling to get a yard of space to create anything. His passing has been poor by his standards also.

Attacking wise, we need to up our game for the next few games.

His movement was excellent and it’s how we beat the man marking, just look at the goal, he drops off taking Considine and McKenna with him. Christie ghosts into the space that he’s created. Forrest got through twice with him doing the same thing, one of which he should have squared to Sinclair for an easy tap in.

His hold up play was good, as was him linking up with others. It was all quite quietly going about his business having an effect on the game, if he squares that at the end, the quiet hard work tends to get noticed a lot more. That’s why it’s fine lines in football.

He was poor yesterday. No doubt about it. Greedy and a poor first touch regularly. Really needs to work on his aerial ability. For a big guy, he rarely wins a header.

Agree with Twisty in regards to Rogic, as well. The last couple of games he's been dire. Keeps getting into good positions in plenty of space and either picking the wrong pass, or * up the right pass.

Aye not his best yesterday and a sign of him still developing. Won't judge too harshly, but perhaps a bit of time out the starting line up and Griffith to return for a bit.

Perhaps same for rogic, play Christie in there and allow brown or ntcham back in.
